oh - i love it when you are bantering.
I just bought the James Bond stamps for charlie as i was getting fed up of it being on my list.
Hey, i have had a thought for next week to liven it up. We all have those long lasting things that sit on the list for ages and don't actually take that long. Perhaps we should recommend to each other one thing that we are 'fed up' of seeing on someone elses list.
I have one example - i saw write a letter to penfriend on someone's list for ages (sorry - can't remember who and definitely not having a go) but i was thinking to myself, just write it. You will really enjoy doing it, and if you can only send a quick note, then do it, because it is nice to do something for someone else that will make them smile rather than leaving it cos you want to spend ages on it.
Anyway, What do you think of it? Might provide a spur to do something for someone. Or does it sound too bossy?
pigpen enjoy your time out. No what you mean about the bedroom antics. I certainly don't fancy any, particularly when i feel i look like a hippo at the moment. I am not even comfy, let alone feeling like that. Much prefer a chapter of my book.
Don't know what to do with this free time here - obviously.
Michelle, x0 -
Lil-me - that hurt! You only want her to catch me so she stops picking on you!
Seems a good enough reason to me
:AI'm nice like that you see.
Can you tell I've been doing Maths all day and drinking way too much coffee, so I need to do something less boring? :rotfl:I'm like a kid who's had no play time and just wants to throw pencils across the classroomIf I only had the physical energy to match the stuff in my head.................keep forgetting flu/cold pills also contain caffeine, no wonder I am having trouble sleeping and my head feels like it's going to pop.
Michelle, great idea, if only I'd posted my long lists someone could have bossed me about too. I was sick of seeing the phone calls I kept putting off (groomers, valeting, suite cleaners etc) because they cost money so did them this week, might drag the to do list I did before Xmas out and see what is still lingering on it.One day I might be more organised...........

Evening all! Very little flying done here, although I did wash the main bedroom bedlinen, and all the uniforms as swell. Except for DS2's rugby gear, as I rather thought that it might just make all the rest of the washing filthy. I think I'll try Tia's Stardrop's tip.
Another day's supply work today at the same school as Tuesday - they asked for me particularly - probably because they found out that I had forgotten to hand in the register for the last lesson... :oI grovelled and apologised today! It was quite fun today - two lessons sitting watching the rehearsals for the production with two classes, double PE - crowd control on those not doing it, and then music - work on the computers. I'd still prefer to be doing my own subject though.
Tomorrow I shall try and catch up on a few bits - lil_me, I am also struggling with trying to sort out a new routine to include everything - delegation may prove to be the answer for me!
tracyg - :grouphug:
kaz - happy to hear that you and DD are getting on better
hex2 - how are the snowdrops doing? I did sneak out on Wednesday to look at them, but it was still too chilly for them to open properly. I did miss being out in the garden today! I'm treating myself to a trip to the RHS London flower show on Wednesday - haven't been for ages, and really looking forward to it.
likklegibbon - very good news about your father, he'll be much safer out of hospital
shell - thinking of you and your family
poohbear and pollybear - I'm guilty of mixing up your names as well, although I do know which of you is which!
michelle - enjoy your halfterm!! Have to wait another week for it here, although my three have an extra two days Inset, so finish Wednesday.
pigpen - that was a very heartfelt post, and I am quite lost for words. Can I offer you one of your speciality soft squishy fluffy hugs? Hope DD feels better very soon, and DS1 grows up - may have to wait a bit for that...It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Moggins I think you have done well too! Grandson, oh yes, how old is Jon Daniel? I think he was called now? Must be about 8 or 9 months old now is he? Husky too, wow, brave, I'd love one but a friend breeds them and describes them as 'like toddlers but worse' :rotfl:
.
Jon Daniel is indeed 8 months old now! And built like a tank, which is amazing considering he was only 4lbs odd when he was born.
Taking on a husky may have been a bit fool hardy but my darling Shadow is well worth every bit of trouble and he loves his mummy to bits, even after the worst day of work I know there is always someone who loves me regardless and wants nothing more than a bowl of food and a cuddle on the sofa :rotfl:0 -
Evening all, just been catching up, rollercoaster of emotions this evening!! It's great to have an outlet like this. Hugs to those who need one.:grouphug:
Not got much done today, phone call from school to say DS had tripped and bumped his head, got to school to find the poor thing sitting there with an ice pack on an egg between his eyebrows, looking very sorry for himself. Ended up having to take him with us to DD's friends party at krazy kingdom, he was not happy as I wouldn't let him run around with the others in case he ended up with another head injury!
Anyway I'd best have a look at the list:o -my laptop decided it didn't want to go online til about 30mins ago, temperamental blinkin thing it isWW lost 33 lbs so far, [strike]13st1lb[/strike] [strike]12st13lbs[/strike] [STRIKE]11st12.5lbs[/STRIKE] 11st11lbs0 -
Evening everyone,
Havent read all the thread AGAIN! its too much for me when I'm at work all day. Please accept really heartfelt hugs if you need them as I do really care about you all.
Strange day today and no flying again but no plans to go out at the weekend.
Finished work early to meet DS from school and take him into town for more clothes. When he brought his clothes down for me to iron last night, I asked him where the rest were and he said that was all he had left that fitted him  . He is taller than me so must be 5'9" and weighs under 8st and getting stuff to fit is a nightmare, I need skinnyboy jeans! So new jeans bought then back home and tea made from whatever we could find tonight. OH gone to work and I've dropped DS off at his dads as he's off skiing tomorrow. Mr T's delivery is on the table waiting to be put away and I dont have any energy left, I've just ordered 2 Christmas trees that were silly prices, and DD and I [strike]are[/strike] were acting like Britney Spears while we keep waiting for our LUSH. And having bought her a new outfit today (one that wasnt in a sale for a change!!!) for improving her behaviour this week DD is now acting like a little moo and wont go to bed
I think I'll throw the stuff in the fridge and find my bed.
See you all tomorrow
PS tracy - if you want to PM me about why they think he might be 'developing' coeliac disease I'll see if I can help as was diagnosed 8 years agoMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
pigpen great list looking forward to tackling a few-after dance class and before another birthday party!!
We also want to go and see HMS Ark Royal (have I got the name right?) at North Shields sometime this week, apparently you can go on board, both kids will love it, just hope we can fit it in, won't tell the kids just in case,
I've got the coldsore tingle:eek: anyone have a miracle cure as mine always last for ages!!WW lost 33 lbs so far, [strike]13st1lb[/strike] [strike]12st13lbs[/strike] [STRIKE]11st12.5lbs[/STRIKE] 11st11lbs0 -
Wow Moggins, time sure flies doesn't it. Sounds like he's doing great aswell.
galantvr4 hope your little one is ok, aww bless him. Zovirax is very good but copies of it work just as well because it's the ingredient which works, Boots do one (one I am currently using) and so does even some £ shops etc, ingredient you are looking for is aclivor. I always start using it when the tingle starts or asap if I have none in, I get plagued with them so need something which works.
Right, Corrie watched, time for washing hanging out then Eastenders.....dogs out then sleep....sounds like a plan. I might even dig through the handbag while I am watching Eastenders to keep miss pigpen happy.....One day I might be more organised...........
