Dusty big hugs from me too, hope things improve, our HT isn't until after next week but not looking forward to it. Wish it was sunny enough for sunglasses here :(

Don't know what I have done but somehow cut myself, probably while doing dinner, it didn't hurt until I went to wash up, owwww!!! Lots of red stuff everywhere however lol. Trying out my new actifry tonight, DP in shock that it takes up to 40 minutes supposedly to cook chips :rotfl: hope they are nice as it was expensive.

Boys rooms barely touched, I threw a strop as they are such a mess but decided they WILL help me tonight willing or not, what isn't done tonight they can help with over the weekend!!! Never know might even find the £200+ worth of games they have lost in there!
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

I've booked a reflexology session with a lady I met in May and have been meaning to book it since then. It is for the week after half term so will be something to look forward to.

Going to get the washing in and start tea

    Big Hugs....
    (I feel like a tweeny!)

I hope you feel better soon....

My list of to do's is still the same....I tend to grind to a halt once the children get home...oh well!

Hugs Dusty, I hope you enjoy your reflexology. Try not to talk during your treatment as you'll get so much more out of it.

DH had taken DS and DD riding. I need to start this birthday cake but i'm going to time it so I get up just before they get back so I can have a fifteen minute sit down now.

Classis quote from DH this morning. I asked him to keep an eye on the children over breakfast so I could pop to the shop...'but I need to get ready'. Welcome to my world! Men, how do they think we do it? xx

This week has been a disaster for me. Each night after work I've been so tired that I've not been able to do any 'flying' ....just about managed tea and washing up. Result I now have a house that is crying out for attention and do I have the energy? NO
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

    Evening ladies,

Hugs to those who are feeling out of sorts. Well, as it's Friday and I have to work from home tomorrow, I think I'll skip out of doing the flying tasks this week but will rejoin in earnest on Monday.

Anyone else bought a euromillions lottery ticket and been planning what they'd do with the £95 million? I had quite a pleasant drive home from work thinking about how I'd spend it!

Thanks for letting me into your cave poohbear - what are we having for tea?

Mudbath - thanks for that tip - the lady actually said on the phone that she does not talk to the client during the treatment and that lots of them fall asleep.

  • Ahhhhh! Bliss! Half term upon me at last - so i may still run around like a loon but i will actually be able to have a whole joyful 10 evenings off if i do it right, i think starting with a snuggle on the sofa with DH, and some quality time with DS this weekend. Somewhere nice i think - not sure where, but i think i would like somewhere outside if the weather is as nice as it has been for the past 2 days.

Some of the school kids cleaned my car today to raise money for their trip to america. not perfect - but one less chore for DH this weekend, also helping to get some QT together.

I might even be able to keep up with the flying this week. Starting with me getting charlie sorted for bed, and then a good mooch. Curry for dinner tonight i was thinking, but as we have no rice i may make DH do omlette instead. ;)
