skintscotslass - I decided to give up snacking for Lent, Except for fruit and yoghurt. If I'd given up chocolate I would have binged on crisps and vice versa so decided to be a bit kess specific. But I only decided on Wednesday night so will need to do it one day longer when Lent finishes, though the idea by then is that fruit and yoghurt has become a habit.
Its going well so far, had mango and yoghurt, and kiwi&grape and yoghurt yesterday. This morning hada yoghurt and an apple, just now going to have a yoghurt. Need to keep eating to keep calories up for the breastfeeding!

I have SWEAT on my brow!!!!

Hoovered downstairs, moved toys upstairs, polished, wet wiped, cleaned, did dishes, wiped counter tops, collected dirty washing, filled WM, and some other stuff.

Now to get make up on, take kids to grans, pop into town, go to asda, collect kids again, come home, pack it away, make dinner, clean up dinner, do dishes, bath kids, put them to bed, make food for DH, clean sofa's, mop floor and collapse.

Kids room.. oh, erm... later later later....

[STRIKE]Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!![/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets & pillows need freshening up too!![/STRIKE]
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season!
[STRIKE]Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors[/STRIKE]
    Extra Task List
Wash a set of curtains, nets, duvet or throw

Thats probably a better idea than just giving up chocolate. Lent finishes for us at Noon on Holy Saturday, so join me and you'll just need to do an extra day, finishing with everyone else I think!!! :A

    Where is everyone?? xx

Hi all, not caught up on the thread.

Having a really bad day emotionally today so have managed no flying. Did go into the garden and tidied up a bit but some of the time I was sobbing so much I could not see out of my sun glasses.

Kids have started fighting/screaming and smacking each other already and half term is only 45 mintues old. To top it all AF has arrived.

those that have given something up for Lent. Do you do 40 days from Ash Wednesday or do you plan on giving up until Easter Sunday?
