soappie I am another who wouldn't have the first clue how to put a lottery ticket on, I think they do them in a newsagents near me......but that is about all I know. DP puts numbers of some sort on but I have no idea what for.
Mudbath I get that all the time off my partner, makes me laugh! One at the minute is 'but I am not very well' ermmmm neither am I but I don't stay in bed/laze around! When we are going out it's 'well I'm ready I'll just go without you' but I have to get the boys ready, everything we need then me!
I've had a few reflexology sessions through the local carers centre, some I have talked and some not, no different each time from what I can remember, both equally as relaxing and the one when I ended up 'offloading' a little possibly made me feel the best, she's a great support worker aswell as a therapist which helps. I might have to book some more, it's ages since I last went as I had to cancel the booked ones last year when problems started at home.
Michelle, you sound really positive today, maybe because of the half term thing? Hope you have a nice holiday.
Well my car looks fantastic, he has done a fab job, £40 is a lot but the poor car has been desperate to be done properly since we got it (valeting done at the garage barely touched the surface) Hopefully we can keep it that way, kids have been warned no scoffing in the car!
Well they helped a bit but DP is now away tomorrow most of the day aswell as Sunday so going to do some in their rooms each day, my back is hurting a fair bit now so decided enough for tonight. Reading time with the boys next tonight and washer load in with unifoms before I forget, then maybe a soak in the bath and an early night hopefully as this cold is doing me in today.
Oh and thumbs up all round for Actifry chips, even if they took about 35 minutes.....One day I might be more organised...........

I give up until Midnight on Easter Saturday ie day before Easter Sunday. So I'll be having a drink at Midnight!! I also have a drink (I've given up alcohol) on Mothering Sunday and our wedding Anniversary. Last year the kids took me to the pub for Mothers Day lunch and a bottle of wine was provided with the meal. I got really silly as I had to drink it all. It's amazing what a few weeks without any alcohol can do to you.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

So far today I have done not a lot! I got both the kids ready for school, got myself ready for work, unloaded the dishwasher, hung some washing out to dry, dropped dd at school, went to work, took my parents shopping (did mine too and got some great meat bargains) came home and cuddled my grandson, bathed a half grown siberian husky and now collapsed! I might try to do some real work soon.0

Hugs DK, hopefully the rest of half term will be easier. Sorry to say it was pollybear who invited you into her cave, not me.

For those who asked about how to buy a euromillions lottery ticket, you buy them at exactly the same place that they do the ordinary lottery tickets.
They cost £1.50 though for a strip rather than the £1 for the UK lottery. When I bought mine, the chap in the corner shop said he'd sold £132.00's worth of euromillions that afternoon alone so the odds are seriously low (or high depending on your view point - something like 74million to one that you'll win the lot).
Not sure when the cutoff time is, but I think I heard on the radio that it's being drawn at 11:45pm today so you'll probably still be able to get in there if you buy within the next hour or so.
Forgive me if I've not gotten around to thanking everyone yet, but this new fangled 'puter does strange things when I click the 'thanks' button. It's on my list of things to do tomorrow to work out just why the heck it's doing that.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

IG - yay! Fab news about your dad, think it was yu that said my bedroom wall would cover blood? LOL!!!!
Dusty - sorry your having a bad day, hugs, hope things get better - thanks so much xxx shall be replying when I get a sec
Thank you so much to everyone!!! I was feeling really alone and then read all your message and it really felt like some people understood thanks xxx Told DH if he was so ill he should see the Dr, which he did, nothing wrong the Dr can find but could be developing Coeliac disease - !!!!!!?!?!?!?!?! Anyway, the cold shoulder has well and truely been delivered this morning and he did apologise, he knows it not true but doesn't know why he said it. We have a long chat today, things aren't great and I don't think they will be for a while but hopefully we'll get there. Hes really stressed about his job at the min, no excuse, when the recession coming gets in full swing he'll have to let people go which he can't handle.
Anyway, things will be like this a long while but I've been firm and told him its over unless we have changes. Sh*t.
Thanks a million ladies xxxx
PS My FLYING has been cleaned downstairs, been to B&Q, 2 loads of WM and line dried, Asda, swimming, walk and play with DSLightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!
Baby on board!:D0 -
you lot haven't been that chatty today.
lil-me glad to see the new routine seems to be working for you, and yes, i think you are right, the half term has made me feel more positive as i now that although i may get bigger and tireder, the student teacher will now take 5 lessons a week, and i have 3 weeks and then y10 go on work experience, so in terms of actual work it is all downhill from here. Especially if i clear some of the deadlines while nothing else is being added. :j i also found out that they are fast tracking the GTP student we have's passing the course, and she will be taking my classes, so with any luck, as she is already in school, i may get shut of some of the classes even earlier so she can get used to them. :T
moggins don't feel bad - that is quite a lot you have done. Bathing a big dog is pretty exhausting in itself, but you also did other stuff and have been at work, so don't get disheartened.
tracey hope you haven't had a bad day, and managed to sort things out.
shirley shame we have to give up the internet time to get the REAL things done isn't it.
toria how is DS's ears? You haven't mentioned it for a little while, so i was wondering if they were any better on these antibiotics.
dusty hugs to you.
frankie hope you manage to get things sorted with your DS with DH's input. Boys can be a nightmare can't they, but on the bright side they don't usually hold grudges like girls do. That's what i find anyway.
Anyway, i have eaten dinner, a delicious turkey curry which was a combined effort -i chopped and DH stirred. I think that was the last of the turkey in the freezer from xmas. WM has been run with a load of DHs stuff which can hopefully go on the line in the morning. DH is watching ice truckers which doesn't appeal, but i may start a new book and sit next to him with a glass of red wine, after all, it is good for you, and the bottle is open from earlier in the week. Sound like an alcoholic.
We had the mortgage statement through today, and pretty pleased with ourselves as the total has gone down by nearly 3000 this year, and it is now well below 60. Not bad as we have paid off 15,000 in 3 1/2 years and i had the year off on mat leave. At least something is heading in the right direction.
And we are thinking the local farm tomorrow, so that would also involve a trip to the farm shop, lunch out, and a long play for charlie in the adventure playground. Only if it is as warm as today though, as it would be a bit miserable otherwise.
Anyway, off to relax and enjoy not doing anything.
