Morning all
Sorry so many seem to be having hubby troubles, they can be a pain in the butt sometimes, think I'm one of the minority with you Michelle as we never argue either.
Well just got the wm started, it's like a spring day here too-lovely sunshine:j makes a change!!
Sorted handbag last night-thats ont to tick off the list
Soappie my front room needs a level 3 blitz too!!!
Have you recovered from your shock:eek: ? think I would have passed outWW lost 33 lbs so far, [strike]13st1lb[/strike] [strike]12st13lbs[/strike] [STRIKE]11st12.5lbs[/STRIKE] 11st11lbs0 -
likklegibbon thanks for asking, bumps gone down just left with a crescent moon shaped bruise!
Such good news about your dad, recovery is so much speedier when in your own confortable environment, bet he's pleased as punch.
Keep meaning to ask-the soap powder I used and loved for a long time just dissapeared off the shelves, it was ariel tablets to put in the drawer, since then I have tried a diff one every time and can't find one that will shift stubborn marks on DDs school sweatshirts-any suggestions anyone?WW lost 33 lbs so far, [strike]13st1lb[/strike] [strike]12st13lbs[/strike] [STRIKE]11st12.5lbs[/STRIKE] 11st11lbs0 -
Good morning everyone, sunny here too, little cold out there but definately makes me feel sooooooo much more lively! Ok well maybe not too lively as I'm still slobbing on the sofa in my dressing gown but will get dressed soon.
soappie flipping heck, I think I'd have been the same as galantvr4!
galantvr4 I usually use Bold, never used Ariel really. Adding soda crystals I find any works on my 2s mucky stuff, gives it the kick it needs. If the marks on the sweatshirts are from those horrid dry wipe pens then I think you're not the only one having issues with them! Hairspray does help get it off a bit, more so if it's a fresh stain, nail varnish remover is said to work well.
Thanks for the advice, all definately made sense. After a longer conversation with my friend (I have seen him but literally a hello as I walked into where he works for a meeting last year) I think avoidance is a good idea. LG what you said stood out, because I wouldn't care if my partner was there, but he does....Might be after more than coffee and I'm just not interested, we have both moved to the same area, he didn't know I'd moved in October but I get the suspicion he's having relationship issues, I became a shoulder for him on emails/msn/phone when he was going through a divorce but then he seemed all happy and sorted again, maybe not.One day I might be more organised...........

Still here.. trying to get the motivation to get in the shower and wash my hair, getting fed up of it being long. Pigpen, did you go through with your haircut?
Lil_me, very wise.. 9 times out of 10 old flames are either just checking they've still 'got it' or are looking for something to fall back on if things go t*ts up at home.
OK, I'm really going now. Been told to bring wellies with me..sounds like an outdoors day then..One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

Have just bitten the bullet and rang the alarm guy's works number (who is a contractor I know from work) again. He put in an alarm for me on 19 Dec after we were burgled but he forgot to bring the internal siren with him and when he went to put the bell boxes up,the first one didn't work and the second the flashing strobe didn't work but the alarm/active light did. He promised to come back in a couple of days with the parts and replace both bell boxes and sirens....................
Well, he's said he'll come back 7 times and I've cancelled plans and waited in and he's made excuses every time. It's now nearly 2 months and I feel that I've been more than patient. So I've just rang his business number and spoken to his wife and said that if it's not done by the end of next week, and preferably on Tues when I'm waiting in for a muppet from the council, that I'll go elsewhere to have it finished and deduct it from the fee.
Now I know I've been more than reasonable and given him plenty of chances, so why do I feel such a slug when I've done nothing wrong. I should be the one who is madder than a hornet.I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
Morning ladies - hugs to those that need them and stern stares to partners who are being a PAIN...
My OH was a 'you know what' last night. Not worth going in to - basically he was throwing a wobbly like a child all because he had 4 pints down the pub and wanted me to run around after him before we met up with some mates. Anyways, it happens most weekends and I got myself in a state which turned in to a gushing nose bleed. I think it made him feel really guilty cause he was all worried and he's been sucking up ever since. I think we're going to have to have a chat about it as I should not get in a state over his childish behaviour. Will wait for the right time.
I'm getting my hair done today which I am really looking forward to - need some pampering and a few hours of ME time. My best mate is my hairdresser and the owner of the salon so, she makes sure I get extra girlie time and pampering. Then tomorrow we are pub lunching to see our new baby cousin - really excited. LOVE babies - can't wait to be a mum!! Mad at OH at the moment but, he is excellent with kids so I suppose I should keep him...
Right ladies, I'm off to have a cuppa, quick shower, bit of flying and then off to the salon. Hope you all have a good day and hope that OH's have sorted themselves out by today - they better be nice OR ELSE.

Conservatory scrubbed down, uniforms washed, just about to head off now and take DD to ballet, I hate it as all the mums are so well dressed and put together and by Saturday I have spent so long in suits etc that I am usually tearing around in grotty jeans and unwashed hair! I try my best to drop her off and hide in the car for 30 minutes. Today I am going to take a pen and paper and make some lists of the most important things to do over the weekend.0

Morning all
Have done nothing this morning other than get up to let dog out and go back to bed until OH came in from work and brought me a second cuppa. SInce then I've managed to have breakfast, since then I've only managed to brusg the dog and laze around drinking tea and coffee.
Best I go and get out of my dressing gown, showered and sorted before OH needs to go to bed.
No other plans for today so might just do some kind of flying :rotfl:Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
