I think you might have to write to F&B for that information. They have such a variation of white's and creams, it would be nigh on impossible to tell the colour just from a picture. Looks gorgeous though doesn't it?
I agree with maypole, farrow & ball are usually really helpful but at a guess & looking on a computer monitor I would say maybe blackened #2011 or maybe borrowed light #235 its got a definate blue/grey tinge to it.....
+ all you F&B fans there is a new colour card coming out in March ( reserve here) with lots of new colours....hoorah more excuse to paint things!!!simplicity is key0 -
I have reserved my colour card0

I have reserved my colour card
Me too!:j I have a small (2 door/2 draw) pine dresser in our hall just waiting to be F & B'dalso a small side table and I just have no idea what colour to choose!
the hallway is painted in a buttermilk colour that looks quite yellow as it gets the sun. I use it to display my poppy dinner set.
Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Does anyone know what colour this is please? It's photographed on their oil eggshell range
Thanks for the replies - I e-mailed them last night and had a response first thing this morning! It's painted in Number 18 French Gray, if anyone else is interested. Shall definitely be seeking that out for my new flat (although the e-mail also said the photo was taken in unnatural light).0 -

still loving this thread its great !!
just wondering if you could help me.. i bought a wall hung corner cupboard from the charity shop the other week. for a fiver . its dark wood which i want to get rid of as its far to dark.. has a glass fronted door and 3 wavy shelves inside
trouble is .. dont know if to sand it down, paint it or what.. and i dont know what to put in it !!!!!!
im thinking of either putting in my living room or my morning room ??
what do you think??
Sanding it down and painting it would be my choice, definitely. If I'm painting dark wood I use cheapo B&Q value white matt paint as a primer as it means the more expensive stuff can go further.
Do you collect anything? It would look nice with a grouping of something...old glass candlesticks, vintage teacups etc. If not how about staping some pretty fabric behind the glass and using it as a cupboard?0 -

Hi Bibbity
My table and chairs are painted in french grey and they are definately alot greener & darker than that picture & the test swatch so if might be worth getting a tester pot first as I was suprised at the end colour....in fact I'll try to take a close up photo now.......
sorry not brilliant still doesn't show its depth of colour hope it helpssimplicity is key0 -

I think a few of you like to sew a little and I know how hard it can be to get nice cheap fabrics over here in the UK.So I thought I'd let you know about one of my favourite on-line fabric shop
www.zandsfabrics.com
They always have a great selection in their clearance section and at the minute there is an additional 15% of for order over $25.
I just placed an order for some pretty dainty florals. Great for bunting or quilt binding etc. We all know how important those finishing touches are for making a home look nice.
They can usually fit upto about 8 yards into a flat rate envelope so shipping is about $10.That meant I could order 8 yards of fabric and it still cost no more than £20 (incl shipping).Less than £3 a yard!! Even my favourite bargain fabric shop over here isn't that cheap!
You have to be careful with the customs side though as anything over £18 is eligible for customs charge.
Hope it helps you save money rather than spend more though.Fabric can become very addictive.I should show you my fabric cupboard sometime!0
