During my de-cluttering I came across some oddments of mdf -just the right size to make shaker-style pegs............does anyone know of a site with a few ideas on for these ? Thought I could maybe do them for pressies.
Also how do you paint mdf ? Does it need some special preparation or can I just put emulsion/gloss or whatever on ?
You could use them to make little peg boards like the ones in this post http://sotreadsoftly.typepad.com/so_tread_softly/2007/09/daffodil-fair.html

vintagepleasure - they look brilliant ! Thanks for that link. Can;t find out how to stick the pegs on (or are the screwed on somehow?) but maybe woodglue would do it.
