I love jugs, people laugh at me when I say that ( wonder why!) I just think there is something about them.
An old lady was showing me her antique china and gave me a small jug to hold, I started to rub my hands around it and she said most women do that on a rounded shape jug, as it reminds them of a pregnant belly. Well I never :rotfl:

I agree with you there Mary. Every time we come to decorate somehow 'green' paint is bought

  • Oooooh I could not possible keep it that white for long lol, but it would make a fantastic blank canvas for all my bitsn pieces!

I have been hunting today again for some bargains :) I bought a 1930's Oxo Tin and an old fruit tea crate, 1 large white tablecloth and napkins from the local flea market :)

Will get all the pics uploaded tomorrow if I have not too much of a hangover, off to friends for a spanish themed evening tonight! lots of sangria and food.............

triage999 - Love the sound of what you bought...........you lucky thing...............:j

vivw - don;t know what it is with green (like terracotta added here and there as well).Maybe its the fact its an 'earth' colour and supposed to be relaxing.............works for us anyway. Our lounge is all dark green walls apart from a pine panelled one (all old doors really) and one wall exposed brick (took forever to do.......never again !!).
Everyone that comes in says how lovely it is (hope they never notice the cobwebs !) and it is a very 'restful' room.

I have decided to start my own blog with pics of my home and all my crafting projects. Can anyone suggest how I go about this and if I can do it for free.....thanks
You can start a free blog with www.blogger.com but some people find them a little temperamental! I use www.typepad.com and there is a charge but I haven't had any problems with them.
