Mary I know how you feel, I've given my cabinet dooer two coats of paint only to have to take it off and sand it properly as there are patches that just will not come right :mad::D Ne'r mind tomorrow is another day, we'll try again yes?

Does the guinness advert make anyone else want to cry?? Just after the burning hay has been knocked down it goes onto a load of old dressers, bookcases and im sure theres even a kitchen unit everyone is after in there flying down the street domino effect....its getting to the point where i have to turn away when its on!! :rotfl: What a waste!!

Thank you for all the ideas for my kitchen everyone, I will keep a close eye out for nice accesories to retro/shabby it up.

I can't wait to get into this, it's the dining room I'm most excited about but I really need to wait till I can afford some new flooring and paint for the walls before I start that. Thanks again for the advice and ideas. x

Help meeeeeeeeeee

My nan was throwing a table out :eek: so my mum rescued it and gave it to me. It's 2' tall and the top is just under 2' across. It's one of those rough, cheapy chipboard tables that comes with a VERY chintzy tablecloth (ick, I won't be using that lol).

What to do with it?
