You can get that trim that has little droplets of stones on it - does anyone know what I'm talking about? lol. It's braid with little coloured stones coming from it. That would look fab on a plain roller blind.
LOVE seeing all the pics - that cabinet looks fantastic vintagepleasure and yes, I too saw the one that went for £92 recently! I have a similar one sitting in my garage awaiting painting. I've just started on another little footstool at the moment though. Will post pics when I'm finished.
Love those spotty cups and saucers too sootypea. I have a few pieces of Emma Bridgewater spotty tinware and absolutely love it.

Oh, and here is yesterday's charity shop finds - brand new fabric - there is quite a lot of this ... all 3 for £2.
I'm accruing fabric at the moment although I still don't yet have a sewing machine!! I've got a previously unknown illness called "fabrica-litus" lol.

I have to agree, I am a fabric addict too. I hope I will use it all, but if not at least it looks nice folded on the shelf! Well that is what I tell myself anyway.:rotfl:Anyone fancy buying my degree? It will only cost you £18k.

Hello all, I havent posted for a while but have been reading the thread. Its great seeing all the items that people have got, especially the real bargains. My husband got this wicker chair from an auction for one pound this week. Someone had painted it white but not finished it off,so i need to do that. I also need to paint some shelves that i got a few weeks ago from ebay, as well.Plenty to do and finding it hard, to not keep buying from charity shops until i have done it all!“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. Apologies if this is not allowed, just thought i should give some shabby chicers near me first chance. Remember the welsh dresser that was painted white and everyone loved. I have got the exact one in my garage but not painted. There is a triple door dresser, a double door dresser and a slim dresser base. All solid oak and in need of tlc. I know I sound crackers for giving them up but nowhere to put them and it would break my heart if i spent hours doing them up and was not able to keep them. Just pm me if you are near Huddersfield and can collect. Saw a wonderful rocking chair with a cushion that went on the seat and up the back at a charity shop for £25 at the weekend, but nowhere to put that either. I really want a rocking chair so might have to see if i can squeeze one in the kitchen when its finished. The cats would love it too.
furball what a lovely offer and im sure someone would love it!! :TWin £2012 in 2012 challenge 0/2012
