I can only say go for it!! :j Mine isnt going to be used as a telephone table either, mainly just a little reflection corner i think hence the booksHowever i dont think i will stand a chance to get near as my 3 year old hasnt moved from it since i put it in place - he isnt doing anything at all...just sitting looking around and then cuddling the teddy, shifting a bit then rubbing the seat and looking at it some more! :rotfl:

Hi I have been admiring all your handy work for a while now and would love to join this thread....I have just purchased a little oak dresser from ebay and would be very grateful for any tips on the bast way to paint it. I was thinking of using satinwood but dont want it to all scratch off!!
what do you think? And do I need to sand it first....all advice gratefully recieved:D
