I'm using their water based eggshell at the moment to paint all my bathroom pine (medicine cabinet, towel rail etc) its a lovely paint and goes on really well. I'm using a brush and a roller and only applying very thin coats at a time.... Duck egg blue colour for anyone that is interested.....
Oh and for preparation I just gave it a quick sand.

i looked at the f&b paint but its mega bucks! I had a voucher for homebase so bought the LA paint and wood primer
