And this is it on Saturday Morning. The mincer on the top left is my lovely present from the lovely Pink-winged. And the jar on the top left is Aussielass's famous green tomato chutney.

This looks fab! I'm desperate for something like this for in my teeny kitchen, any ideas where I can start looking for something like it?

My user name is awful - wish I could change it, but everything else had been taken that I tried! It was a last attempt! :rotfl:Icecream sounds better to me!

I don't think you're username is awful at all and it's always good to dream! I must admit I sometimes read it as icecream or as "I candy" :D
Pic here. First time I've tried to use flickr so hope I've done it right:

My other dd wants similiar, so does ds, but not sure how I'd make it work for a boy as in 3 years time he'd prob go off it.
That looks stunning. Brilliant job. :T :T
I live in a private rent and I'm not even allowed to change from the magnolia on the walls. I'd love to do something like this if I had my own home though.
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j

And I am certainly in awe of people on this thread, and so grateful to them for helping me to do this.
So thank you so much: I can't quite believe it. It's actually the first thing I've done since moving in 9 years ago, that I feel really really proud of. I am so fired up to do more. Just wish I had more time! Though actually, this took from around 9am when I first posted to around 3.30, just before dd came back home. So not long in itself. And great fun to do.
Okay, I know you want to see (though I'm very very very nervous about showing this one). Pic here. First time I've tried to use flickr so hope I've done it right:

Much as I'd like to try the f & b paint to paint my dresser, being on a tight budget I think I'll have to go for something not so expensive.

Can anyone recommend any paints that they have used - preferably water based and as quick drying as possible? Hope you can help!

Hi Kina. Thanks for the comments. I've spent alot of the weekend in the laundry room looking at it. :o I got that off freecycle so you could ask I suppose. Otherwise save it as your favourite search on ebay and it'll email you when one comes up in your area.

Cat64 The crown range is good and I have used the Heritage range from Dulux throughout my house. My kitchen dresser is painted in milk white by Homebase satin wood and the one above is chalk white by crown. I've never used Farrow and Ball. ;)
