Well done Icandream.... pic please LOL!Boysmum3.... certainly sounds like we are close and I'm definitely not showing you what I'm bidding on tonight now ;o)And yes.... Vlislene is interfacing, I remember now!I do apologise for the lack of paragraphs in my posts (this one will probably work ok now, you watch!) but MSE seems to hate me and won't let me quote (hence me waffling on in a seemingly random way without showing whom I'm answering!), add paragraphs or use any of the nice smilies....

show us when you have won it then :D
I'm no competition....if i buy another bit of furniture in the near future my OH will leave!!! Or put it on the fire!!! he doesn't know my mum is fetching me a little side table out of her spare bedroom when she visits for easter :rotfl:

Just collected this cupboard that i won on ebay :j was going to put it in the pantry when i have sorted it, it's a junk room at the moment:rotfl:

Thought it was too nice to hide away so i have put it at the top of the stairs to put extra bathroom bits in. The cottage it came from was beautiful so shabby chic and tasteful and the people were lovely. So nice to see someone living the dream.

I knew that I had seen those pics before!

[edited as my dh pointed out this might blur the lines of online/real life privacy. Ooops!

    If we all club together.........

Kisto, I'm going to try to go to her open-morning to get some fabric to make some bunting if you fancy a trip out!

Oooh I didn't see the bit about the open-morning. I might consider going for a nosey! I don't have any real need for fabric right now, but I guarantee I'd end up coming back with some! :p The kids are on Easter break then, so I guess they'd have to tag along too. :D
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j

Oh Icandream I am so proud of you! I am also in awe of the things other posters on here have done and I have yet to take the plunge, but you've done it! :T
Well done! And your daughter loves it - even better. This will give you the confidence to tackle your cupboard now! :j

PS I keep thinking your user name is Ice cream!!! :o :rotfl:

My user name is awful - wish I could change it, but everything else had been taken that I tried! It was a last attempt! :rotfl:Icecream sounds better to me!
And I am certainly in awe of people on this thread, and so grateful to them for helping me to do this.
So thank you so much: I can't quite believe it. It's actually the first thing I've done since moving in 9 years ago, that I feel really really proud of. I am so fired up to do more. Just wish I had more time! Though actually, this took from around 9am when I first posted to around 3.30, just before dd came back home. So not long in itself. And great fun to do.
Okay, I know you want to see (though I'm very very very nervous about showing this one). Pic here. First time I've tried to use flickr so hope I've done it right:

My other dd wants similiar, so does ds, but not sure how I'd make it work for a boy as in 3 years time he'd prob go off it.

I am so impressed! No wonder your daughter loves it.
I think you have discovered a talent there.
I bet it has made a huge difference to the room and all for the cost of some paste.
