I think I may embark upon some sewing tomorrow, I was going to do some little fabric hearts to dot around the house which are quick and simple, they are in the Country Craft book that I managed to pick up from the charity shop last week for £1.50.

I have lots of little fabric scraps to use up and plenty of filling material so it should not be a problem!

I think I have the same book and it is fab. I've had it for years and it is well used. My next project from it is the patchwork quilt.

If it's the same book it's available on Amazon. ;)

Can any of you Shaby Chic-ers think of an alternative use for a bread bin, other than to store bread? It is the horizontal flip-front kind. I bought it because I thought it was really nice, but when I got home I realised I would rather keep my cceramic bread crock.

You could keep packets of pasta in it.
