I used the International Paints magnetic chalkboard paint and it cost me a tenner and IS NOT magnetic at all!!!! I put about 7 coats on the doors as well but it's about as magnetic as my ar*e!!!I would just get matt black paint which you should manage to find for about a fiver. I find Wickes better than the "showy" Homebase type places and bought 3 tins of pink, pale green and blue gloss in there a while back for 99p a tin as they were discontinued.0 -

just wondered if there were any shops closer to home that would sell a shower curtain with this pattern
Do you have somewhere local you can buy the fabric...if so make your own. I bought a cheap white curtain and then made a fabric one to sit on top of it. As long as you let the 1st curtain do its job & leave it open to dry it should be fine. I take mine down & was it now and again with a bit of borax in the wash just to keep any mould spores in check....simplicity is key0 -

Just a quick update for those who helped out with my glasses hunt.....I found these on etsy last night for £18 for 6 including delivery from the US, not bad I didn't think!0

Actually, just realised that's a point I should elaborate on....etsy.com is mostly handmade, but it also has a vintage section where there's often some fabulous stuff. Most of it comes from the US, but the dollar is low still and it's worth the wait! I've bought limited edition signed prints off there for less than you could buy in ikea, and there's plenty of fabric too0
