Actually I am going to try for no 1. Want to paint which ever dresser I get in a cream with a hint of green. Can anyone suggest a colour and what type of paint should I use?

OK - hands up - I want to put some pics onto a site and link it so people can look if they would like to. I've tried flickr and picasar - problem is I cant get it to let people look without giving them to option to add captions or delete the pics!

I know many people on here have done it, so I would GREATLY appreciate a 'how to' reply.

    Thanks
I think Flickr is great. They won't be able to delete your pics only you can do that and usually the added notes are very sweet and uplifting. You can only see the notes if you run your mouse over them and only people on your contacts list can leave notes anyway.Any comments are underneath so don't get in the way of the picture.

I prefer the overall shape of number 1.It will look great painted.I think F+B's Clunch is a lovely greeny tinged cream but it depends how dark you want.Dulux do loads of creams I think aswell.

  • just a quicky.....where is the cheapest place to buy the blackboard paint.. only need a little bit ?
I used International Paints matt black. It's not a specific blackboard paint but it does say it on the can as one of the uses.I think it was about £6 from B+Q and we have been really pleased with it.

We got ours from Focus, it was £4 something, for a small pot. We've painted 3 boxes, and 2 smallish blackboards with it, still loads left. If you are going to get your kids to do it it may not turn out quite as smooth as it needs to be to write on, I am going to have to the blackboards down and recoat using a roller as my son was a bit heavy handed with it.
