I got a set of three candles in glasses ( mother's day gift ) in Tesco today reduced to £1.25 for the set - the glasses are probably smaller than these ( they are about 8cm tall, 6cm diameter )and they are clear glass but similar sort of design.

the big car boot sales here start again on the 23rd march so im busy sorting out as much as possible for that!! I already have half the kitchen packed up to go including breadmaker, slowcooker, microwave (old one as i got the new tv style one last week) as well as loads of stuff i have bought, put in the cupboards and never used!! Ive sorted out ten ton of toiletries and nicknacks - now just need to get rid of a lot of other stuff and we will be ready!
Im also having a huge car boot clearout before we move house. We're hoping for an Easter weekend carboot, weather permitting. Which one opens on the 23rd? Dont suppose you know when Blayden and Batleys open do you?0 -

was thinking of getting this type of shelf for my kitchen. .take down my wall cupboards and put two of these up instead.. they would run along the whole of my wall space as they are 190cm,
what do you think ??
we are saving up for new wooden worktops and the inset white sink from ikea aswell.. so the wood look shelves would match the worktops, or do you think they would look messy????0 -

charley i think it would love lovely, like a real country kitchen. I know someone else mentioned about only having high traffic items on the shelves though as you wipe them down each time you use them to make it less of a dust grabbing attraction. Maybe if you had somewhere you could still keep some of the less used items etc and use the shelves for everyday glass jars of things etc i think it would look fantastic!Win £2012 in 2012 challenge 0/2012
