just thought id tell you about my charity shop buys yesterday

i got 5 cups and saucers a sugar bowl and milk jug plus 5 mini plates and one serving plate
the plates and saucers were pink and the cups and milk jug were pink inside and cream on the outside with grey polkadots.. all for £3
and a pink teapot for £1.50 .. oh and a salad spinner for 79p!!

oh its so cute the cupboard.. i like your eat sign above it aswell..

i have a cupboard just for glasses.. i think they are quite addictive once you start buying glasses from charity shops dont you think !!!

Well you guys have inspired me!
I am not very creative but I am watching a pine chest of drawers and mirror on Ebay. Mirror at £2 and drawers £5 currently, so if they remain low I will go for them - that way if I mess up my first attempt at painting, all is not lost.
If I DO get them, I'll be back here for advice on what to do next! lol

I never see nice bargains on ebay like those. I've been looking for a while now for furniture that's collection only in the hope that I bag a bargain!

High on my wish list at the moment is a mirror with a thick wood surround just ripe to be painted. But first I need to find a F&B stockist (according to the website the nearest is 50 miles away :rolleyes: ) so I can paint the old dining chairs I've got.

Homebase opens near us in 2 weeks(its also near mollymunchkin, i live near her!) and my mum is the woman going to be in charge of prices - i cant wait, I have requested text messages when she finds out whats being reduced to silly prices, and begging her to let us have the family discount card! lol.
I was in a car boot today scouring for goodies for the kitchen but nothing grabbed me :rolleyes:
