Oh dear - couldnt get it to work- do you type strike over the word- sorry to be thick!
Looked it up on Google but my pc looks different to the details.
Yes, you wrap the strike tags around the word you want to strike out.
[strike]these are the words I want to strike out[/strike]
^ In order to do above I wrote this, but without the stars

Hi Mary, love your baby cardi and the colour is gorgeous.
I am just getting ready to head off to craft exhibition at the SECC Glasgow. I've actually got butterflies in my tummy- I'm so excited :rotfl:
I know I absolutely don't need any wool but I also know I won't come back empty handed. I am looking for quilting material as I have lots of pink and purple in my stash and just need another 2 fqs to make a full size quilt for dd. My daughter has been travelling/ working abroad for several years so I have never made her a quilt. All my other relations have had quilts, so decided to make dd a quilt and keep it here until she eventually settles down. Although, that's maybe wishful thinking :rotfl:

Thanks Ladies, Master Hinge has pinched the vintage baby romper for his teddy bear
he pinched the last one in that style that I made also :rotfl:
I have sorted out my craft station and been ruthless with my yarn stash  A big box of acrylic odds and sods is now in my boot ready to take to knit and knatter on Monday, alot of the ladies knit blankets for charity and will make use of it. I'm not keen on the colours and have lost count of the years it's been sat in my craft room so it needed to go.......:rotfl::rotfl:Tomorrow I sort out my fabrics and ribbons
I am down to one knitting project, 1 cross stitch and 3 crochet projects on the go :j:j makes a change for me :rotfl:
I am 3/4 of the way through this sleep sack and next on the waiting list in a pair of socks for Missy H
Plum I hope you had a lovely day!

I broke down and bought 10 balls of Bergere de France Sonora in the L0veKn!tting sale. Planning to make some version of this dragon lace pullover, probably as a cardigan with more dragons.
I've been slogging away on my hue shift afghan which I'm doing in aran weight and with 12 colours to fit a king-size bed. Almost done with 3 of the 4 squares, and then I need to join them and figure out a nice way to attach a fabric backing. I'm thinking buttonholes in a knit-on edging, as I'd like to do two bases (one cotton-y for summer and one flannel-y for winter). We'll see, probably be summer before I get done with the knitted squares!0 -

Love the cables on the sleep sack, MH.
I should start another pair of socks, I suppose - have been reading during my commute rather than knitting, so at-home knitting is for the big bulky blanket.0 -
Hi everyone, had a really busy weekend after a brilliant day at the craft exhibition. I bought...... Let me count ..........
700g acrylic/nylon chunky to knit jumpers for grandchildren.
150g acrylic/nylon DK for cardi for smallest grandson
Two different types of chunky to knit a scarf for a Xmas pressie and a cowl for me.
When I go walking I hate wearing a hat, so I'm going to knit a cowl that I can bring over my head when really cold. I got a nice grey Italian wool that will be soft and warm.
I've started knitting the chunky cardi for smallest grandson. I bought a tube of buttons at the exhibition for £2.50. But when I got home and opened them the buttons inside were a different shade to the button on the cap. Really disappointed in that, so still to buy buttons.
May go to local town on Friday for buttons.

Do you have a pattern in mind? I've been meaning to make something like this - I did knit a hat over the winter but it's a bit bulky/awkward to wear, so I don't and then I'm cold! :rotfl: I do like the idea of a cowl that can be worn on the head as well - extra benefit of a full barrier against wind on your neck.0
