Pennib's wrist-warmers and head-band are lovely.
I did a search on ravelry and don't see an exact match but there are loads of lovely ones!
I love these too.
Maybe need to make a few pairs of wrist-warmers instead of socks. I am doing these socks as part of a MOCK (mystery sock) KAL (knit-along), wonder if the would work as wristies, or maybe they are a tad OTT (this is at the end of clue 2, so no heel or foot yet!).Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

I knit Fingerless Mitts in Aran (VERY useful in a cold house!). I knit them on 4mm DPNs, for a denser fabric. Cast off at the middle joints of the fingers. Gusset thumb, cast off around top joint after 2-3 rnds of rib.
Having clicked on the picture of the grey mitts, they seem to be knitted on 48 sts (my go-to for Aran mitts) and the 3 cables look like 1 x 1 (Twisted sts) off the K sts in 2 x 2 rib - might look better with 4 cables. They look like they have st-st sides and probably the palms too. The thumb instructions can be cannibalised off any DPNs Aran/Worsted glove pattern.
Headband is knitted flat on (I think) 20sts - *1 x1 cable, P2*. The top and bottom edges look different. I would do the edges K2, P1, (or 3 Moss st) NOT slipping any edge sts.
Hope this helps.Needs, NOT wants!

Can anyone help me with a pattern for girls beanie with flower on side? Grand-daughter age 5 has asked for one like a girl at school. From what I could see of it it was chunky with rib and main body in garter stitch. I have some chunky wool also odd dk balls, could I use two strands of dk as chunky to use up. Useless at making up own pattern so any help appreciated.0
