That's lovely Butterfly, any chance of sharing the pattern, as I love a bit of cable workPlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Raksha that is a lovely hat. Did you make the pattern up yourself? Bet your dil is going to get lots of compliments when she wears it.
Butterfly Brain your hotty bottle looks so nice and cosy, just what we need for the fast approaching winter! Your pattern looks so intricate.0 -
I've just knitted Pippa Longstockings up for someone.
Oops forgot. To the person that wanted a looser tension on their fairisle. I was always told, don't carry your yarn over more than 5 stitches before you entwine the yarn together at the back. Otherwise you have to big a length of wool which can be pulled to tight. Does that make sense. It does to me0 -

Are there any designers here? If so, Yarnwise (the magazine I edit) is looking for new designs - feel free to pm me here and I'll give you my work email address.

I found the pattern on Ravelry - htthttp://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/adult-sheep-hatp:// I got a ball of green and a ball of blue wool but thought I'd be a bit short of the green, so knitted the first few rows in black instead of green. It comes well down over the ears tooThe Swiss darned flowers were my idea.

Hi I have a problem with a jumper i'm making for my DH Xmas present and don't know how to tackle it.
I'm making him this jumper http://www.knittingfever.com/c/sirdar/book/59/?pattern=13973
design E (it has mens sizes too), which is moss stitch with cable panels.
The back of the jumper is the same as the front, but because I wanted to speed it up I decided to make the back plain moss stitch and not do the cable panels. The problem is I have completed the front which was 130 rows before I reduced to the raglan (my DH is very tall), and last night I completed 130 rows of moss stitch for the back but when I held it up over the front it was much shorter! I think the cabling on the front must have stretched out the whole piece.
Do I keep it with 130 rows to raglan front and back and just stretch the back by hand, or do I keep knitting extra rows on the back until it is the same length as the front?0 -
I'd knit it to the correct (same) length regardless of the number of rows dandy-candy.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

Took ages to find a pattern that would fit me, as I'm a Plus Size 30'ish, and I wanted something that would tax my brain - I love knitting cable and Aran designs, but chose black so any mistakes shouldn't show too badly. My first attempt at multi colour knitting, and I'm really happy with the result
So - does anyone have any idea where I can find other similar patterns? This one was a 56" chest.....Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0
