I am planning to send mine to Loving Hands Charity Knitters, the person who originally wrote the pattern has been involved with them.
I used cheapy Poundstretchers Streamers, given to me by my mum.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Definitely Poundstretchers, have seen yarn in most of the Scottish ones I have visited. The rainbow yarn for my potato chip scarf was also purchased there, at 99p per ball.
The nest is to be sent to Loving Hands, who pass them on to charities who use them for baby animals/birds.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Poundstretcher has a good selection of yarn for sale around here, but in some of the stores it is stuck in the back ot the store rather than displayed nicely.0

probably best to just work it out by doing a tension square, then working out the number of stitches to get the size you want. Just a thought though - chunky yarn and tiny babies may not be the best combination, and a chunky blanket could be very warm.0 -
I have been sat in the current heatwave knitting fingerless gloves!0
