Just had a look at these they're lovely. I need to stop looking on here I'm becoming hooked already visualising how nice they'd look on the blanket box on the landing. Shame I've got cleaning, ironing etc to do............
Hope you get the wool you want look forward to the picsFinal no going back LBM 20/12/10Debt Jan 2011 [STRIKE]£28217.65[/STRIKE][STRIKE][/STRIKE] DMP start 01/02/11 -[STRIKE][/STRIKE]

hi, i bought this when it came out a couple of years ago. i got as far as square 9 and then started falling behind. i then just flicked through the mags as they came along and bagged up all the wool. then weeks later when i realised i could join my first lot together i realised they were all different sizes so i re did these using different needles which was mind destroying. did this for about 3 squares then gave up because i knew when the patterns got harder (not experienced knitter learning as i go Along) i knew i would never go through all the re sizing so whole thing is sat at bottom of wardrobe gathering dust. would love to get it going again but doubt i will have the patience maybe you could pm me your progress so i dont take up valuable space on here, would love to know how you getting along and if all your squares same size?0 -

You could also use the eyelash yarn alongside a cheap DK yarn?
thanks cuddles, yes the wendy chic looks perfect but hard to justify £4.99 for one pattern as would not use the others, its when i have problems like this i tend to give it a miss for another few years but you know what its like when you have promised someone something. the original eyelash wool i bought for £1 a ball at a shop in brighton called the works. now am only finding it in quite expensive places. as for the other pattern requiring 2 yarns together would be worried about adding a random wool with the eyelash in case it didnt come out the same back to huffing and puffing but thanks for thinking of me. keep knitting everyone else you are doing a sterling job and the items are all so beautiful, put me to shamelol

Gorgeous knits everyone.
Kezbabe; That's a lot of squares to knit up. Keep going! Would love to see the finished product.
Irishgirl; They are brilliant cushions. I'm just getting my knitting mojo back and have ordered 2 ladies cable cardi patterns. Even daughter wants me to knit one for her.....that's a first!!! Will post a picture when I get them.
Cuddles; Your knitting looks very professional can't believe you've only been knitting a year!0 -

this looks like a great find, thanks. do you think the garnet is just red looks like its got bits in it?0 -
Closer pic of the garnet Fizz. It`s not the eyelash type in the pattern someone posted, that looked more like funky fur.
This looks more like feathery stuff.

yes the fizz one definitely has ribbons in as well but for £2 a bag i will get some anyway. the bag of foxy is more of an eyelash type but looks more like a dark grey or black, think i will have to get the one on ebay, doesnt look like i can get it any cheaper but not found pattern yet so no panic. warned her today anyway that this was going to be a christmas thing not a next week thing (god knows when she will wear it)0
