Easy, just knit the stated amount of stitches, then turn the needles round and knit back the way you have just come.
Well I'm really feeling rather stupid. :o I've been trying to knit this, but I am sure I'm doing it wrong
How can I be confused with sooooo few instructions???

    I've been
knitting 2, turning the needles, knitting 2 (which takes me to end of row)
knitting 4, turning needles, knitting 4 (end of row)
knitting 6, turning needles, knitting 6 (end of row)
    knitting a full row
and then repeating ....... looks like I'm knitting a pair of trousers ???

Well that's what I did, and mine was fine

It does look odd at first though.
What kind of wool are you using?

    Thanks cuddles,

Hi - I think you are not knitting across all 15 stiches when you have to knit a full row

You knit across all 15 stitches then start again (at the other end so to speak) with the k2 turn k2.

    Hope that helps.

Just to let you know that this technique is known as short row knitting. You use this technique in order to shape garments. So instead of casting off stitches on a shoulder seam to shape the shoulder you can use short row shaping instead.

Oh I think I have some of that but in less bright colours, I did an attempt at crocheting a scarf with it!
