  • good evening all.

im after a fried egg knitting pattern if anyone has one to share? I am making some knitted play food for my daughter. Have already made "bread" and will knit ham and cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce just need a fried egg.

I have made bacon out of felt and would make an egg but i dont have any white or yellow felt but have loads of white and yellow wool!

thanks i looked at that actually but it comes up far too big and i have tried to make it smaller but doesnt lie flat when i pull the work together if that makes sense!

the bread ive made had 26 stitches so it needs to be tht kinda size. i used this website for the sandwich and it shows and egg but no pattern :(

Oh that's a pity. Hope you find something the right size. I'm feeling a bit peckish fancying a fried egg now!

Thanks! It really is quite an easy pattern to get into, with the super chunky wool it knits really fast and falls into place easily, as once you get going to row before actually helps you with the pattern.

Here's the final piece as it's all finished:

I'm not knitting for a little while now as I've got to go back to my first love, Cross-stitch for a Christmas pressie, but I'll be keeping an eye on what you are all up to.
