Snoopy_rules wrote: »Decided to get back into knitting again. I have found some chenille wool sat in my attic and located a book called Rowan chenille collection. The only problem is the book is so expensive on ebay I could buy a cardigan cheaper. I know this is cheeky but wondered if anyone has a copy of the book and could photocopy me 2 patterns from it please and then email them. Trying to moneysave.
Sorry hope I'm not breaking any moneysaving site rules by asking this. If I am please delete this post. Thanks
Photocopying patterns like this breaks copyright laws and is thus illegal. So yes, you undoubtably shouldn't be asking for this on a publlic forum. If Martin's site gets a name for allowing this sort of request he could get into major trouble.Val.0 -

If anyone is passing through Helmsley North Yorkshire then pop into the shop which has an "Antiques" sign and boxes of books outside. It has a very good range of wool, some at bargain prices.
I bought some Patons Coast (Aran) 50 gms for 50p.0 -

Have just spent a lovely couple of hours knitting in the garden. Finished both sleeves for DD's cardi, so hoping to stitch it together tomorrow, and then get cracking on one for me. Thought I'd do the small one first!Married 19th May 2011 to the love of my lifeCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44CSC Challenge - to complete LEGS by end of December

Hi Everyone
http://www.readicut.co.uk/category.asp?cat_id=SPKN&jump=16&sfile=1
Readicut have some good offers on at the moment if anyone is feeling brave including Sirdar Click 500g pot luck for 7.80. Not sure I'm willing to chance it after last time though - got substitutions on both my orders and only liked one but left it too late to return the other.
Giving them one more chance and have ordered Sirdar peru 500g pot luck pack for 9.89 x 2. Wish me luck!0 -
