Going to try to get Money plant tonight, didn't have time to go to the shops yesterday. I found a Feng Shui set someone had bought be for Christmas a few years ago it contains Compass (South East Corner of House is in Kitchen under Boiler) 3 Coins and Red Ribbon. Unfortunately the Book wasn't very good.

My mum has a money plant; do I literally just need to break off a leaf and stick it in some soil to make one of my own??

I've now bought that book as I am Queen of Clutter, just need to wait for it to be delivered! So thanks for that. Though I am unsure it will work on me, I am really really bad, I get it from my nan who refuses to chuck anything.

Again - I must stress that I really don't know anything except the one or 2 pages that I've read in a couple of books - but the word 'corner' isn't quite what it seems.
In the book I followed you draw a floor plan of your house then you draw a grid over your sketch just like you do for noughts and crosses so that there are 9 equal spaces, CENTRE - NORTH - NORTH EAST - EAST- SOUTH EAST - SOUTH - SOUTH WEST -WEST -NORTH WEST, each sector is what they call a 'corner' so your south east corner is a square of your house grid not the actual corner where your walls meet each other

Hey its not always a bad thing - how many times have you seen these people on the programmes like the 20th century roadshow - with stuff that you've chucked out - now worth a fortune???!!!!! and saying "I had one of those in the loft" !

Indeed; I was an odd child and had a collection of china animal glazed things that I collected from car boot sales. My mum later made me get rid of; perhaps because of the way my nan (her mum) is she hates clutter (it's skipped a generation!). Then I saw similar in an antique shop for about £50 each. humph.
  • I have put a few pieces away for posterity, it's tidied away in storage boxes, is that clutter?

I'm getting so confused now - i dont know whether ive put the plant in the right place????

maybe the answer is to put a money tree in "ever" corner of every room (except bathroom) to make sure ! ha ha

Shez, you can look at the whole property and select the overall correct area, or you can look at each room in the house and locate the area there - does that make anymore sense??!!
