    shez,

I have just been mooching on the net and found these sites which look interesting, I haven't used them so cannot vouch for them etc.

Hope these links are ok, not sure how to do them.

Thanks for that Rabbit, will check them out. I do know that they sometimes have a feng shui show on QVC.

Thanks for reply apprentice tycoon, yes I try to do good too (not an angel though LOL) the sums of money came to me as repayment of things I did in the past so that's the reap- sow thing.

Anyway I've put my symbol back so fingers crossed (more magic LOL) Best wishes to you and everyone. I am learning to live for the now and one day at a time in view of my age and the London bombings we may not have much money but we've riches by the bucketload in comparison. Wanted to put a comment here for them but all I type seemed wrong or not quite appropriate IYKWIM.

I love this thread. I bought a pair of chinese money cats from a chinese supermarket about ten years ago. I bought them home and positioned them by the front door as the man told me to. I then went up stairs to get some pennies to start them off, so to speak. As I went mooching around the cupboards to find some that might have been discarded in old purses etc I found £20 in an old handbag! Well, the cats have been very welcome ever since. (I don't think I would tell Deryn Brown this story as readily as I have told all of you - the word 'coincidence' springs to mind!, yet we still love those cats :j )

FAO Bendybops in particular, am not sure if this is Feng Shui or not, but, I have read somewhere that mirrors and TV's in the bedroom should not reflect the bed and if they do then cover them with a doilie or pretty piece of material when they aren't in use. It has more to do with emotions rather than financial as they are thought to "suck" the positive from the room.

(Not exactly technical, but, you get the gist - I hope).

Some insects called the human race,
Lost in time, and lost in space,
    And meaning"

Knowing me, I am always asking the most blatantley stupid question, but it is only because i dont really know and want to know and for this question is because I'm too embarrassed to ask my chinese family this; How can you found out the North, East South and West sides in your house? :o
  • The only real way is to use a compass (Millets?) but you can make a rough guess by watching where the sun goes down in the evening, that's the west

LOL this post reminds me of my own stupidity and one of my frequent 'blonde days' :rotfl:

Sat in my car with my new GPS Sat Nav System.....the voice is telling me 'head south-west' I have to phone my husband to ask, which way is South-West? LOL :rotfl:

Of course, he's ashamed to even know me and buys me a compass to put in the glove compartment for the next such event. Am I thick or what? LOL

  • I think that it's a girl thing, we, apparently turn the road atlas upside down when travelling south - yes - so what, is that a problem? :o and the only way I can remember which side is east and which is west is that when they are the correct way around they spell WE.....
