My living room door is at the back of the room, the far left corner would be on the half turn of the stairs which go up out of the left hand corner, I already have the plant, but its in the bathroom, on the window cill so I do not forget to water it.......should I move it and put it on a small table on thebend of the stairs??????? I could do with some money luck!!!!!

Will it get the proper light? if so, why not?0 -
We have very big windows at the front and it should get the right amount of light, succulants usually do no need as much light as some plants, I'll try it and see, watch this space!!!!!!!!!!

This is what you are looking for. I search google for pix and found out that American call what we call Honesty the 'money plant' so I searched Jade plant instead http://www.hort.purdue.edu/ext/senior/flowers/Jade-57.htm0

I know that places like homebase sell them they are normally small and about £3.
The label will normally have the latin name on it which is Crassula.
I hope that will help.
But if anyone wants just a leaf I could pull one off for you.

EdInvestor wrote:Locating the feng shui money corner :
When you stand at the entrance to the room , it is at the back of the room in the far left hand corner. Every room has a money corner.
You can put symbols of things you would like to increase in value in the money corner, eg a picture of your home, something representing your job, or perhaps your investments. I am not sure that it works for endowment policies, but you can always try.Every little helps.
I think a money tree is certainly worth a try but I have 2 entrances to all of my downstairs rooms, any experts on how to find my money corner? There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0 -
So is this right?
We can put our money trees in any s.e. corner of any room? or does it have to be living room? I currently have mine on the bathroom window cill like tootles. Maybe thats why we are struggling - plus I have been trying to get a payrise since last year but with no luck!0 -

Where you have a choice of entrances, pick the main one that's used the most - or the one that enables the money corner to be in the best spot for what you want to put in it - eg where there's some light for a plant.

If you can locate the money corner away from the stairwell, this would probably be good, as otherwise the luck might disappear up the stairs. However if you can't, putting the plant on the little table halfway up the stairs will hopefully catch it on its way up,and also look nice
Feng shui ideas IMHO lead to good interior design and a more harmonious and attractive home - maybe that's part of the secret.Trying to keep it simple...0
