I think that it's a girl thing, we, apparently turn the road atlas upside down when travelling south - yes - so what, is that a problem? :o and the only way I can remember which side is east and which is west is that when they are the correct way around they spell WE.....

    Exactly! ;)

Not that it helps much but the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

Then all you need to do is work out where north and south are.

Cant say that me and my granny (- the one I am very close to) does any Feng Shui stuff as we are devoted Christians and doing Feng Shui was meant to be do do with Budhism.
But on my step mums and biological mums side there are all really into the Feng Shui, You are right about the Money Tree in every takeaway shop cos every one in my dads side of the family has got one in their homes, and businesses. and So far in my family that are into the F/S has been in good bussiness for decades, Dads got takeaway and three properties, aunts and uncles own at least one takeaway shop or Restaraunts, one is a high paid stock brooker, one owns his own food cateering service co.for Chinese caterers. And my Grandad was the Leading Chairman for London Chinatown with his several restaraunts inc one in Chinatown too. All with Money Trees.
Me and Granny dont have one, we have an opposite life to them but still happy and now i wonder why I just cant seem to fix my finances right.
By the way, I do beleive if you have alot of clutter in your homes then your mind will be cluttered too, I am not a hoarder like i use to be before and i beleive that my mind is more able to focus on things properly because of this, I read somewhere that its Phychological but is is known for the feng shui's.

According to my Lillian Too book, you can tape 3 Chinese coins that are tied with red ribbon (they have a hole in the centre) to the south east corner of your work table or desk to 'energise money luck'.

Oh lol.......I just KNEW the Feng Shui set I got from Avon ages ago would come in handy at some point! I've got 5 'holey' coins to play with and a funny eight sided small mirror thing.

I was mildly interested in this a while ago but didn't actually do anything about it (other than buy the Avon set, lol). I'm now going to read up on it too.

Elona.....if you get a minute.......can you pm me with details of the money spell too please?

Also, does it make any difference if the flowers/plants in the bathroom are artificial.......or should there not be ANY in there regardless of whether they are real or not?

If there's a Buddah in the garden...is he supposed to face the house or face away from the house?

Oh I'm on a roll..... :rotfl:

    Thanks in advance peeps. :)

What was the symbol that you moved and put in the cupboard?

The article that I read and have lost now:D said to put things symbolic of riches i.e gold, jewellry, money in the wealth part of your house, I forget how to work out where that is but I followed the instructions at the time. I just put a little gold coloured jewellry box with some old gold things and some money in it.

Are us lot daft or what:j;) :D

I don't think Feng Shui is a Buddhist thing at all. It is just a collection of observations and thoughts collected throughout hundreds, if not thousands, of years. Practical things like not placing one's toilet near the kitchen and keeping the lid down on the toilet is just common sense for health and hygiene reasons. Afterall, health is gold!

About the plants, I recall that live ones are essential. It's the life force in them ... ya see :)

As I have now p.m.d 4 people with money spell details and will have to remember to do this myself , as it is ages since I tried it - it will be interesting to see if anyone has any special good luck - coincidence or not!
