I think that Feng Shui is helping our finances...am I nuts?

If people take charge of their own situation instead of relying on magical thinking it won't automatically make things better, but it will at least help to tip the odds in their favour. Take some tough, positive decisions or keep on rubbing Buddha's belly? I know what I'd do.
Feng Shui may be a bit of fun, but it's nothing to rely on in a crisis.
Anyway, seasons greetings to everyone  and I hope you have a prosperous 2006.
See you later. :santa2:
PS (I think the smilies could do with a good Feng Shui session :snow_laug ).0 -
Think I need some feng shui - other people get Christmas cards on Christmas Eve - I got a tax bill from the Inland Revenue!
They must have a warped sense of humour to send them out to arrive on Christmas Eve!

I've been reading this thread with interest, particularly with reference to Jade Plants (money trees).
Does anyone know if they would live sat on top of a computer? My computer happens to be in my wealth area (ironic, given how much i spend through it), with nowhere to move it to, and I would like to try out the theory of a jade plant.
If nothing else, looking at it might stop me spending quite so much...
MethererNot heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.

I've had my money (jade) plant for 25 years and it's been in many curious places but never on top of a computer. Might be a little too warm for it but you could take a cutting off it and try it there.
My surprise Christmas card was from Travelodge - time I got a life methinks !0 -
:rudolf: My DD gave me a money plant for Christmas! I was going to put it on the kitchen window ledge as it's the only proper window ledge in the house (all the others are too narrow for a plant pot), but my kitchen faces north and the plant label says it needs plenty of sun. In the end I've put it on the coffee table in the (South-facing) living room! DD has also ordered some "gold" feng shui coins to put in the pot, but despite being ordered in october she hasn't received them yet. Maybe the people who've read this thread have caused an unexpected demand for them! :snow_grin0

The stick of money plant I picked from the plant at work is still there and seems to be still alive - I did not dare to check to see if roots have taken but will do so in a few days' time - I hope it survives!
