Hmm, maybe the original post was meant in a light hearted way, but if you think some plant has magical wealth giving properties then you need a reality check.

Anyway, don't take it to heart, it's just cheek.

I think if you take the time to read the whole thread - time consuming I know lol - you will find that a lot of the posters didn't take it that seriously! Anyway, in my case, I'm peeved my plant died!

Only works if you rearrange your bed so that it is diagonally accross the room with the plant where the pillow is and you sleep with your feet on it.

Got into it a few weeks ago, and got hold of Karen's book on de-cluttering.......... :T

Looks like I'm going to be one of those 'slowly but surely' cases, but it HAS got my head out of the sand and making a proper start to controlling both my clutter and my finances :j .

No 'miracles ' as yet apart from my money plants generating a few plantlets while I wasn't looking......wondered if this tied in with the 0% credit cards I had applied for :rotfl: [note to self : repot asap & see if the money grows]

Any one else any 'miracles' or surprise money to report??

Well i took this thread seriously,sad maybe but each to their own.I decluttered my whole house,got the books from the library and done many of the things i read.Yes agree, maybe i havnt had a win on the lottery or any other kind of windfall but i havnt starved or went without heating unless i chosen to do so.I have elonas money spell but havnt yet done it incase it does reverse my money situation at the moment,(like someone mentioned in a previous post),ie lose my job or something along those lines,but i know ive got it incase i truely need to change my luck and im greatful elona took the time to pm me it,thanks,and im hopeful that it will work in emergencies.Im not wealthy because of my money plant,it died and im yet to replace it.I was a little peed off that it did die after i took realy good care of it aswell.After all, even if no magic works in my life it gave me a huge kick up the butt to organise myself and my home and im thankful to all the people who posted on this thread.

Infact im so thankful to everyone on the OS board,you have helped me more than you would ever know.Hugs and kisses to you all.

Thanks Elona, I've pm'd you too. The spell seems easy and I will definitely try it - especially as I've just had my garage broken into and both mine and DD's bikes have been stolen! :mad: I don't care about my bike, but I'm sorry for DD. Depite Feng Shui being wrapped up in some rather dubious claims, the core of it is good common sense that can help a lot of people. Clearing out clutter will always make you feel lighter and more in control of your destiny. Light makes you feel better too.

Totally agree with you! A good de-cluttering always makes me feel better. I feel things and possession that I don't use/ need burden me.
