  • coffeeandfags how did you find the NW cornewr of your house - is it just the top left corner as you look at it from the doorway???

  • Yes, the NW corner as you enter your front door. However, if you use your back door as your main door, do the opposite and place him in the SE corner!
    Good luck!
  • Thanks coffeeandfags that makes sense now - that makes it the back kitchen left corner so I will pop him on the microwave! xxx

Hello all, I am back from my hols!

My mum's money plant had a baby so I potted that and it is now looking a little lost in the pot tied with a red ribbon, but I'm sure it will be fine once it's grown a bit!

And I had some golden Euro 20 cents left over so a couple of those have been pushed into the pot.

Thinking of buying a little buddha too, they have them in Camden market (office near there)...

I have cleared two big bags of clutter to go towards a boot sale which is a start, as well as chucked lots of paper into the recycling - this is unheard of for me, as I say I find it hard to let go, but the clutter book someone recommended is really good and I am going to do more, bit by bit, as it is a good feeling once things are gone. My flat however is far from tidy but I am getting there (amazing how much crap one can pile into a studio flat!)

I need to make my living space a happy place at the moment as I live in Stockwell which is far from happy at the mo...!

This has been a fun thread!

Hey, I'm confused, why does the buddha sit in NW Corner and not the SE Corner (wealth) with the money plants?

Haven't got around to buying a money tree yet because they are 3.99 in Homebase and haven't had a chance to look anywhere else.

Anyway my manager hasn't given me any Sundays to work this month, so with the time and a half I'm losing 16 hours pay. <git>

This morning I put some fools gold into the money corner to add to the piece of paper with red £££ printed on it.

Today we get a phone call from another store. They want people to work overtime there next Sunday. Because my manager has given me Sundays off I am available to work there all day and get paid for the equavilant of 18 hours and still have 3 sundays off. (8 hour shift at time and a half for sunday, and time and a half for overtime)

Now is it all because this amature geologist moved some of her rocks....?

    :rotfl:
