I think that Feng Shui is helping our finances...am I nuts?

I posted a map earlier where it might help you decide where to put your bamboo. I have two really large bamboo plants which look great. They are so easy to keep and as far as I know any healthy planet is good " feng shui" no matter where it is put so maybe put it in what area you want to pay attention too. Now my bamboo plants have their new pals " mr and mrs money planet " to keep them company.
Im away to position my photos in a good area as just read a really good article on how if photos are postioned wrongly they can be negative. So I am about to put photos of my b/friend and me in our love areas ( looking happy together - eek ) in the faint hope that it might result in him popping the question :rotfl: .If he does you are ALL invited to my wedding , hee hee see if feng shui can beat 6 years of hints :rolleyes:

that map you posted earlier, the door position you drew - is that supposed to be your house front door position or is it the door to any room position?

cos my wealth position is then in two entirely different corners of my living room!


Although I came into work this morning and found out we had one a £10 winner - so maybe its in the right corner!! :j

well I've enjoyed this thread and everybodies' comments, yes all of them, we all need some fun/optimism/magic in our lives I've enjoyed your comments too John Jackson and I really suspect you're only trying to wind us all up and picture you with a big grin on your chops having some fun, I hope I'm right:D

I have decided to move my bamboo to my career side, heck this feng shui is going to working overtime. Still clearing my clutter but !

thanks for the link Cat72, I have a book which said a similar thing, and everytime I need a boost to really clean up I re-read the book. It has helped me realise why I am such a hoarder, and how to let go positively. Yeah there are some things that I think back to like letters that I'd like to re-read, but I think they were holding me back rather then propelling me forward. Such a liberating experience!

My place seems to be a fenh shui nightmare! So I am trying to see what I can do to rectify it!!!!

ok Cat72, so my money plant is in the SE corner of my living room, good.

can relax now and wait and see what happens.

Have just got a couple of feng shui books from the library, so will read them for more tips.

I find your use of irony most amusing.

I really hope that you all manage to get your Chi sorted out, the Yin and Yang balanced, the positive energy channelled and the negative energy deflected. It will have a huge influence on your future prosperity.

Anyway..... I've heard that playing music at a higher volume (don't scare the neighbours though!) can chase away bad spirits. Or you could just enjoy a bit of a boogie!

It works!!

I was in B&Q this morning and remembered the Jade plant. I thought I saw it but it only had the Latin name. It was also nearly £6 so I left it behind.

I went to my local garden centre and found several plants at 2.75. They looked good so I picked one up. When I got to the till, the lady asked me what the second number was. I was honest - I said 7. She said she would put it through as £2.25 and as there was a 20% sale charged me £2.02.

I saved £4 on B&Q and I hadn't even paid for it!

I hope this good fortune continues LOL
