Bloke walking along sees his mate on the other side of the road with nothing on but a girl strapped to his back. "What's going on here mate?" he asks. "Oh, I'm off to a fancy dress party" his mate responds. "Why no clothes?" "Well, I'm going as a tortoise and (pointing to the girl on his back) this is mi-chelle!"

To get back to the topic, my new money plant is now placed in the SE corner (I think) looking very pretty with his red ribbons on. Anybody know where my bamboo plant should go? (non rude answers only
:D:D)
Thanks

Well, my money plant is looking very happy in its corner (please don't shatter my illusions by telling me plants have not feelings!
) Sadly, I know nothing about bamboo plants.
My flat is tidy and clutter free and so I'm happy. Happiness would be complete if Feng Shui provided me with a kind soul to do my washing up and my ironing, but red accessories wouldn't go in my lavender bedroom! :rotfl:
Apprentice Tycoon, I would like to thank you for a most excellent thread. It's been lots of fun, informative and held my interest for a lot longer than other threads I read in the past!
As for the sceptics, their comments have been so forceful in trying to make us all see the error of our way that they have achieved nothing but strengthen my resolve to ignore them!0 -
i have bought a money plant today after reading all of this thread for the past few days. Cost me 2.99 from homebase but visited about 3 other places first before i finally tracked one down. have red ribbon waiting and just have to nick some gold treasure out of OH pockets next time i ' check the pockets' for the washing machine and bingo!!!
cant wait to see if anything happens although not holding breath as might pass out first.:EasterBun ...what more do I need to say?!

What exactly do you mean by that statement?0 -
In my experience here that usually means you get your posts deleted John.
I have to agree with a lot of your sentiments though, the only people making money out of this thread will be the supermarkets who are selling the Money Trees.
You can of course take a cutting off a Money Tree, my grandchildren have made many extra plants this way.0 -
It is actually supposed to be luckier if you are given your money plant or grow it from a cutting (money saving or what?) :j"This site is addictive!"
