This is good news, as mine will be an adopted one. I think I had heard this once, actually, that it's supposed to be a gift, or passed on. Yes, very OS!
My Mum has always had three pound coins underneath the pot of hers; that's what my cousin told her to do. Hasn't helped so far, so perhaps she's got the coins bit all wrong...and not a red ribbon in sight! If I'm going to do this, I'm going to do it properly!..0 -

What exactly do you mean by that statement?
Oh just shush. You're really annoying me now.......But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -

Just had a quick search on ebay for "money plant" and there's seller on there has them for 50p with 70p postage. The feedback looks okay, seems they sells plants a lot; there are other sellers too, one for 99p plus £1 postage - all pretty good rates...
I've never bought plants on ebay, or through the post at all, but my colleague here has, and she's always been delighted with the quality and packaging of them on arrival.0 -

He doesn’t agree with my opinions, so his answer is to issue a veiled threat. Is that a responsible way to represent MSE and Martin Lewis’s board though?
I have been polite and respectful on here, yet I’ve been on the end of a lot of insults and abuse. Including abuse from the “board guide” himself.
Don’t worry though Squeaky, I won’t be making a complaint. It’s just the standard response from people who don’t like to think too hard._pepsicola wrote:I have to agree with a lot of your sentiments though, the only people making money out of this thread will be the supermarkets who are selling the Money Trees.
That idea wasn’t lost on me. I was thinking of buying some money trees in and selling them on at a nice profitSo yes, I suppose money can be made from nonsense ideas: sell them on!

It means please keep the thread lighthearted.
As I said - I don't want to split the posts out and move them to the discussion forum where the more serious debates take place.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. I have no more to say on Feng Shui (HOORAY!!!) as I've made my points clear.
John now searches for the discussion forum to start a "is Feng Shui a pile of crap?" thread :rotfl:0 -
