Glad its all over and done with. Sorry your dads not been nice to you about it all. Just show him how much better you'll be once you're sorted with your life back on track. Being able to focus on living and not on debt must be a wonderful feeling, and the key to a much better lifestyle :)
  • I posted a MASSIVE post on here full of new BR questions and the computer bloomin well fuzzled up.

Anyway - the main one was - do I keep using my Barclays account until told to do otherwise by the OR?

Was just watching that repossession programme on tv and it made my heart ache for all those poor souls that still have to go through that dark tunnel.

I am just so grateful to be on the other side!!!:j

    Hi NME,

If you want to be 100% on the safe side then contact the bank, tell them about your "Captain Bird's Eye" expeience, and ask them what the procedure is, otherwise just carry on using it until/unless instructed to do otherwise.

  • Well, another day is drifting past and still no call from the OR (they dont work weekends do they?). So I am hopeful of a stress free weekend (ha! 4 9yr old boys high as kites on sweets, fizzy drinks and pizza - some chance).

I was thinking about this today. Last summer we had a joint account and my exs brother gave us some money to live on, pay some bills and paid for a holiday in the hopes of us patching things up. Will the OR be interested in this? It wasnt my money and my ex has not gone BR. Im now no longer on this account. Answers on a post card please - or a thread if you like!

I was talking to someone today about their massive debts (worse than mine if thats believeable) and the worry on this poor womans face was awful. There are so many people that are trying bravely to fight against the tide of debt, Im just glad that I made the decision to go BR when I did.

Anyway - Im off to make birthday cake

  • Well I have got my letter from the OR!!!

My telephone appointment is witha "Miss" at 11am on Monday 18th...so a while to wait yet! It does say "It is likely following this conversation that you will not have to be interviewed at my office". Now this could just be a standard letter but I hi fived myself anyway.:T

Going back to my Dad - those nasty messages that he sent, I checked them adain. It turns out he wasnt drunk when he sent them - the last 2 were sent at 7.30am.:( So he was definately stone cold sobre. Time for some toxic parent trimming I think...

Have just opened another letter - I have finally been tracked down to this address since the move by one of my DCAs. Too late Im glad to say!:D

    Have a good weekend!:j

    Hi NME,

No office interview,:j that means you're going to be spared the Spanish Inquisition.

Text messages sometimes get held up, and the time received isn't necessarily the time sent; just a thought. It's one I use all the time on a Saturday when my O.H sends me a text to remind me to empty the washing machine and put it on the line.

I did once post a "help" on here because I wasn't quite sure how to peg towels to the line;:confused: it was good old "Bat" that helped me out of that predicament.:D :D
