Hi again Scattymam! You've really done her proud, bless her, it looks so beautiful and she would be delighted with it and especially with your thoughts of her. She must have been one very precious lady! Well done scatty, you made an excellent job!

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

  • If she is well enough, i think the idea of a photo session as a family is lovely. Or just put how you feel into a card, im sure that would make you both happy.

Lots of love to you and your family xxx
It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'

I would love to but she died just over a year ago now.

I made the memory jar as I can add to it every mothers day and get it out and read it every mothers day too.

Just because she died doesn't make her any less my mother. So it's hard when you see all the lovely cards and presents out there around mothers day. It's feel wrong not doing something for her. So I will...

The gift you made was special on so many levels. The gift itself was absolutely stunning with lots of love and thought, better then any cheap tat the shops palm off as 'love'. Your mother was a crafter and she would have truly appreciated a gift like this so it is a homage to her. You put so much personal love and thought into this and it carries on her legacy so that she will always be there on mothers day.. something to also ease your daughters pain in the future. What more could a mother want? You are an amazing daughter and sometimes life just seems so unfair :A

Sending you hugs and wishing you a happy mothers day x
