  • LOL! If only it worked both ways...

Just pin her to the floor n draw round her.... I've got SIL's dress but she's up in liverpool and we're not... Hoping it will fit lol.

Would do that if I could but she's in Scotland!
Last excuse was that her mum didn't have a tape measure.

Think we have ex wife shape spanner being put in the works - lol. Am having lace up back dresses to aid with fit. Cunning plan to post tape measure up there this week (knew the Xmas cracker one would come in useful for something) and see what the next excuse is  just hope they can work it!
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
  • May be able to cut my list down!

OH had email from his ex this afternoon saying they are going on holiday in August and asking what date the wedding is.

Not sure if his daughter will be going but son is - so may only need 2 kilts and 2 x bridesmaids stuff.

 will not cover it if the dates clash!!!!!

Black diamonte stones to go on veil (iron on) sounds not so nice but I tried one on in the bridal shop but was £110 for it, so got some iron on stones for £2.50 from Ebay.
Bought my necklace today from Asda for £6.00
Bridesmaids dresses x3, a bargain at £12.50 each.
    1 Fascinator for bridesmaid
DJ for £100 for whole evening.
    Groom's wedding ring

My sister also has a petticoat I could lend rather than hire but with the dress I have chosen it needs to be quite full so I'll have to try it out.

I can't think of anything else right now but it seems like a lot to be getting on with and seems a million pounds away at the moment. I'm not getting married until 2010 and have budgeted for about £5000 but want to avoid that at all costs. I'm having a black tie and cocktail dress code, I would love a swing band but they are so expensive. Anyhow, good luck to everyone and congratulations.

I'm not getting married until May 2009 and have only started to look at potential venues etc so nothing bought or booked. I was on another wedding forum and there were people getting married in July 09 who had just about done everything. I suppose we're not going for popular/expensive venues and not having things like cars etc so we can more laid back.
Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!
