Bridesmaids shoes - ordered waiting for delivery

Kilts now 4 rather than 3 - hire arranged through Macgregor and Macduff in Glasgow as we went there at the weekend - FIL has arranged fantastic discount and has paid for them - bless him! :A

Sorted out invitation list as well - just need to stick them all together now :T

    Well done you!

I've got the rest of the bits to make the favour boxes and the paper for the inserts for the invitations so we can make a start on that this week.

I also ended up buying place cards, cost £8 from BHS which is shockingly expensive seeing as I could of done it for free with some card I already had... But they're pre-folded and probably going to look a lot nicer than I could of done...

Had a dream the other night that it was the wedding day and all the art and crafty things I had planned hadn't been done in time.... Wonder if my subconcsious is trying to tell me something?!

Another update - I'm so organised this week! :T

Girls shoes arrived today - the smaller pair fit DD so need to exchange the bigger ones to fit other BM.

Have ordered hoop for dress, suit and cravat for DS.

Now going to do some more bits for my favour boxes - every little helps :p

i got it from eBay in the end - have splashed out a bit as I didn't want it to show through. It has 2 hoops and 2 layers of tulle. Not sure if it will be too wide but I can adjust it if necessary.

have talked OH into round cake so still coming from M&S and we are having it stacked so no need for any stands.

Favour boxes are now finished so one less thing to do.
Invitations just need sticking together as do place cards. Need to sort out writing for them

Do you put Mr X Smith on them or first names. When do boys become Mr rather than Master? or can I just put first names on under 18s place cards?

When should you order the cake? I'm getting married on 1st August - I want to get it done so that it's one less thing to worry about. Can you order it now for collection at the end of July? Or do you have to wait till a couple of weeks before the wedding?

All this organising is beginning to fry my brain!

Invitations are now all stuck together.

DS suit arrived yesterday and his cravat this morning.

3 more things off my list.

Next item is the form for the registrar - just need to check how much their fees have gone up before I can send it in.
