I just thought that there may be an automatic block on posting links to blogs or other social sites. The wedding site is a brides blog but a very proffessional and useful site."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

Couple of updates...
Notice with registrar - Need to book appointments (2 diff registrars because we live in diff towns!) Booked my appointment for April, OH Still to arrange his
My dress - Been and tried some on... Way out of budget so going to try again next week lol.
Tiara & Jewellery - Am waiting for a medieval circlet to arrive. Thought it would be a bit different, hope it looks as nice as I want it to loo though!!
Flowers - Made bouquets for MOH and oldest bridesmaid. Flower girls will be carrying baskets and scattering paper butterflies down the aisle in front of me... In theory...
Cake - Design has been decided on, 4 tiers, wow!!
Table decorations - Have all the bits and pieces, tea light holders, pebbles and stocking butterflies
Favours - Started making up and decorating the boxes.
Gifts for bridesmaids, best man etc - Got one for one bridesmaid
Guest list - One down... MIL has said she's not coming... Yay...(Sadly she'll change her mind many times between now and then);)
Starting to feel like things are coming together piece by piece, starting to get nervous about not having a dress still and nobody is around to come dress shopping with me for a couple of weeks... I don't want to go on my own
My proudest moment is making the bouquets. They don't look too shabby, even if I do say so myself! (The favour boxes look great too but I'm only sticking stuff on them so can't take all the credit...)A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I have finally decided on the colour scheme for my wedding.I was stuck for a while between two styles but have just taken my fav from each and combined them.So I am having a lovely dark damson purple with ivory and gold.I found the dress I like, the flowers are easy for me, so now I just need some more ideas for table settings, stationery etc and the food.
Changed my mind again.
I dont really like gold and our rings will be white gold(hubby 2b says that silver is just too cheap,he wanted platinum so white gold is a compromise)so the colour scheme just now is purple, ivory or white and silver."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
Update:
Car - remembered at 2 this morning  that FIL has a mercedes.
OH is going to ask him if he'll drive me. Must make sure that he uses his own one and not borrows one from work though as he's an undertaker
Have found beautiful cake stand but it's not exactly cheap! and price quoted appears to be without VAT at this rate the little things are going to cost a fortune
Just had reply about VAT - is included - not so bad in that case - will add it to my list of things to doOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Should be OK as long as it's a nice limo.....my wedding car in 1984 was the local Co-op funeral's limo which they hired out on Saturdays for weddings - very MSE!0 -
my sister had silver mercs from the funeral company for her wedding they were great, i've decided on a coach, saves everyone driving, but not very chic0

I wasn't going to even bother with a car until I fell in love with a pair of shoes. :rotfl:
It's only a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the hall where we are getting married so had originally thought it would be fun for myself 2 x DS and 3 x bridesmaids to walk it.
But I'm not prepared to risk my wonderful designer shoes (they cost almost as much as my dress) but a wedding car was going to cost £350 :eek:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
