Morning All!
:bdaycake: Happy Birthday to N9eav, enjoy your party!
First thanks to everyone who has sent me PM's, and poems. It really helps to know so many peple are behind you. We still haven't got the reports back on Mamma, so we still haven't had the funeral. Hoping I hear today, and it can be next week. I've made all the arrangements, just waiting for a date.
DD is going with her fiance today to his Grandad's funeral, he passed away on the same day as Mamma.
I am having some "Me time" today. Everyone has wanted a piece of me this week, so today I'm going to get my hair done, and be pampered a bit.
Have a good day all.I Believe in saving money!!!:T

white rabbits and all that for the 1st of the month
Happy Birthday N9eav
its freezing here but no sign of any snow yet, but my bit of the midlands hasnt had real snow since i was a teen
im going through my diary this morning to sort out all the feb birthdays i have to get cards and/or pressies for. i dont think this month is too bad about 4 cards needed and only birthday that needs a pressie is my dads but i've already got that tucked away. Must remember sisters wedding anni - she got married on leap year day so only gets an anni once every 4 years so i like to get her a nice card (already got that as well) so really just need to do some writing and wrapping. i find it easier to do them early in the month and write the date in small where the stamp will go then i bung them on the shelf near the door ready to post off the week before.
just put all the recycling bags out and youngest DS informs me hes got to take as many newspapers in as possible, so had to brave the cold to retrieve him some, havent got a plastic tin bag today as all that went down MrT's last night along with the glass so i got points for it.
hope everyone has a good day
determined to stay well in budget this month.SPC~12 ot 124

It's quite strange how the weather blows round different parts - although I'm not far from either of you we always get snow each year here - being on higher ground helps I suppose - DD's have been sledging every year for the past 5 years......you all need to move to my village(or Kyles and Twinks)
Happy Buffday N9eav - Hope you have a great party - I expect my invite's in the post????
Beds are all stripped, dusted and hoovered all through, DW unloaded and reloaded, washing sorted and WM on - just going to have a cuppa and then bake something sinfully sweet and sticky to try and cheer me up a bit.
Hugs to all the poorlie ones.

Hello again all,
Kids packed off to school, one load of washing already out another in the machine.
Hoping to go into town to snuff out a bargain at TK Maxx. Probably all sold out by now as today is the first day i've had time to go into town.
Would like to get two new winter coats for the boys for next winter. (I like to have winter coats already in waiting for the weather to turn nasty in the late autumn as otherwise i always get caught out with a coat with sleeves that end at the elbow).
Weather still cold but lovely here. With all this talk of snow and rain I didn't prepare a wash load to go out first thing and as soon as i saw it was fine and windy, I jumped out of bed to get the wm on!

Another newbie to this thread too!
I've got a chilli in the slow cooker. I've done a bit of housework and am soon going off to pick up my friend Rose.
We're going geocaching. It's a FREE hobby!!!! (once you've aquired a handheld GPS!:o ). It involves going for a nice walk to a specific set of co-ordinates and looking for a hidden container. Inside there will be a logbook to sign and small treasures to swap. When we get home, we log our visits on the website. These caches are everywhere and it's a worldwide thing. I bet you all walk past them regularly. Check out geocaching.com to find out more. Just put in your postcodes and see how many are near you. It's a good excuse for a nice walk and it's FREE
I'm hopefully going to have my 100th find today.
It's nice to speak to you all. I'm off work this week so don't usually have a chance to post in the mornings.

Happy Birthday N9eav :bdaycake: hope you have a fantabulous time at the party tonight.
Welcome danksshady and mk wotsit! you will like it here.
Hugs to Hilstep and anyone else in need.
Nice and sunny here, chilly out but certainly no sign of snow (yet!). I've been up since the dawn of time, emptied the DW, put a loaf in the BM, done three loads of washing and taken DD's car to the garage for a new part which means that she's pinched mine for the day. Sigh. Have had a rummage in the freezer for a salmon fillet for my supper tonight but could only find two frozen together lumps which I've unsuccessfully tried to separate, so looks like a bit of a scratch dinner for me later! Oh well. I'll defrost the two fillets next week for two of us.
Will be finishing off my new silk blouse and cutting out some summery t shirts as I'm here for the duration so a nice self indulgent day for me today.
Have a great day!
