They seem to have been running lower at my local tesco's lately. But I have collected some at around 12.30am before and they don't fill the shelves for another 24hrs!0 -
Slightly off topic.....but need some advice please.
Just found out yesterday that for the past couple of years my Mum (not the sharpest knife in the drawer) has been opening then binning, her Tesco clubcard statement and vouchers!
If I called Tesco helpline could they go through their records and see she hasn't been redeeming the clubcard vouchers, and credit her???0 -

They may well do as some people seem to have had old points re-credited without any info other than their clubcard number0 -

If you can persuade your Mum to phone up and say she had lost them, they would definitely recredit them and she'd get them resent with the next mailing.
I lost some after moving house and had them recredited without any problems.
Sounds like my Mum! :rolleyes:0 -

I'm saving my vouchers for DLP. We are looking to go in Feb, 2 adults 2 children.
My questions are.
If i pay by using my vouchers do i still get the free child prices?
What is the best way of doing it, ie which tour operator. We want to go on Eurostar.
What is the best hotel to stay in? My 6yr old daughter wants to stay in the big pink palace but it's very expensive, is it worth it if your out all day anyway? or are the cheaper hotels ok. I imagine we'll only be sleeping there.
Thanks for any help.0 -
We stayed at the New York, which is also walking distance. A bit cheaper than the 'pink palace', we went in February and the only reason we stayed near the parks is because there were no crowds, so we were walking miles going on everything, so we went back to the hotel late morning, and mid afternoon for a rest! We took a travel kettle and lots of snacks with us, and this saved us a bomb on buying drinks etc. in the parks. So it's a bit of a balancing act with the cost, pay more for the hotel, be near and have the chance of a break during the day - and to make your own drinks etc. Or stay further away and resign yourself to buying everything out and definitely not going back until bed time. It would even be a bit of a drag going back at dinner time and out again. (We also pinched a few extra rolls etc at breakfast and ate them in our room later in the day!) Plus you get a nice posh hotel!0

I have loved reading this thread.. you're all mad, but hats off to everyone for their dedication with the beef!! I think the best bit was reading the post where someone wished another poster "Happy Beefday!!" Is there any way of knowing in advance what the next special extra points offer will be, or do we just wait and see?Maureen0

If anyone has any beef that they want to get rid of in Nottingham then try the following Salvation Army centres. Myself and a colleague dropped off 60 boxes at the Nottingham HQ today and they said that the centres would be happy to receive any further such donations. Might be worth ringing beforehand to check that their freezers are not full with beef already!
