    Hi you all

Well, not had time to even look at you. Work first thing, then funeral of aunt (only representing family so please don't worry about me!). Sad but as not close not a huge problem.

Then had to nip home to pay the decorator for kitchen and bathroom painting done. He will need to come back once kitchen done. Also outside paintwork not done as weather totally dire here in South East Scotland and forecast for tomorrow awful. We have had huge problems with the Forth Road Bridge today.

    Love

Hope you are all OK. Special mention to HJ, Pink and PennyPin. HHester - wow, congrats - what a weight - I just had to find your post. Hope everyone else OK (plus your families).

Just want to say thanks to PennyPincher for the heads-up re the gift vouchers for Lakeland:D Got my £25 worth for £15, so very pleased:D :D I have to confess, I didn't expect the code to work (most places wouldn't for vouchers, in my experience):o It was so good when it did, and means I don't miss out on a bargain. There isn't anything I can justify as a need at the moment, but plenty I want:rotfl:

Just a quick post as I am shattered. OH gone to work. Am looking forward to bed.

    ANNIESTAR Hugs
    LITTLETINKER welcome

Hope all of you who are plain fed up feel better soon.

Fat cat is back from the vet, only needed a scale and polish so bill after discount was £74, not too bad. He's quite fed up I won't let him out. Even psycho cat is in, must be grotty out there.

Had a nice lunch at Mum and Dad's. Mum got out all her knitting stuff and has given me loads of needles and yarn. She also showed the piece of work my Granny crocheted when she was on honeymoon, it really is beautiful and must be nearly 100 years old. Shame my Granny isn't here to teach me.

Am going to go and slob out. Hope people get some sleep, I recommend biker's ear plugs, can't sleep without them!

Thanks for all your good wishes.
It's been a bit fraught this evening, first ex oh insisted the only time he could visit the new baby was this evening, which is when I wanted to go due to work. DD was getting really upset, so I told her not to worry, we'd see her tomorrow once she was home.
At 6 I got another tearful phone call from DD to say her Dad had gone home & wouldn't give her a lift home as it was 'out of his way'!!!
So hubby & I drove in & took her home, the baby is huge, very cute but really soooo heavy, we both had a cuddle & took loads of pics.
    Hugs Hester

    Evening all,

Feeling rotten all day and biting the heads off anyone who happened to cross my path...then I realised that I had forgotten to take my happy pill...bit of a pain at the moment as I am cutting back (on doc's sayso) but I really should visit him more often, am not supposed to take a step further without his approval...too organised for me, but think that I had better see how I go over the next few days.

Hopefully will feel better to-morrow and do something rather than moan all day!

Hugs to all in need...my misery is self inflicted
