Yes I already do UK only on my main account for selling and I don't have the time or inclination to be a PS ( I only sell 50 ish items a month), so there's very little good in this for me. On last months figures I'll be 2-3% worse off.

Perhaps all sellers should collectively (sp) stop leaving any sort of feedback at all when the new system is up and running. That way the "powers that be" might have to listen to their bread and butter earners for once.

I would support that one. maybe we could all email our buyers and say that unfortunately due to new regulations regarding feedback sellers are no longer prepared to participate in the feedback system, so unfortunately I will be unable to leave any feedback for you. Any bets on how soon I would get banned?

Some of the ebay responses on Q and A are laughable to be honest.

They seem to be under the impression that the only thing that makes a buyer 'bad' is non-payment, and seem to be ignoring all the evidence of buyers scamming, claiming non-receipt, damaging and returning items etc.

I'm only a small time seller, and I'm thinking it's just not going to be worth it. Although the reduction in listing fees is a help, the increased fvfs negate that, and I've no chance of being a powerseller so I won't get any added protection either.

Ah well. It was fun while it lasted.

I've been lurking on the PS Boards a bit today, and what worries me is the alleged need for all business sellers to have their name and address on ALL live listings, in order to comply with Distance Selling Regulations.

Thats great news for the burglers and stalkers out there. How many work-at-home mums are going to be pleased with this?!

It's also interesting to see that they are talking about refusing to leave any feedback for buyers - that could be interesting!

Someone keeps asking that over on ebay and the pinks seem disinclined to answer. They just keep insisting that sellers don't care or even check feedback left for buyers, and are getting quite aggresive on this point almost to the point of being rude to posters who suggest that sellers do sometimes check on the feedback of buyers.

I always check bidders/buyers feedback. Then I can block them if I don't like what I see.
