I'm confused as I am still able to leave negs and neutrals on transactions from last week

I can't - the system seemed to change yesterday for me  My auctions all ended on the same day and I was able to leave normal feedback up until yesterday, but now can only leave 'new style' feedback.

I'm still on 100% as I've never received any negs or neutrals but I've lost my seller ratings - possibly because I've not sold anything since last summer  . My score was 625 and when one person added feedback yesterday it jumped to 659. Today someone else has added two feedbacks and it's down to 640. Very confusing!

I can still leave neg and neutral feedback so it looks like the changes are being phased in.

I'm really just sitting and waiting for my malicious bidder to start leaving negs for all of the sellers she is in disptue with, I'm surprised I have got this far without a neg from her yet.

i had one customer the other week , 7th may 08 , they wanted me to leave feedback for them and they said they would leave feedback for me , the buyer has still not left me any feedback and i left them positive feedback , i undercharged them on the postage , i charged them £5.00 postage & packaging and the actual postage cost was £6.00 plus , and that is not including packaging charges ..

my ebay feedback has chagned as well , myn was 99.6% now its 99.4% and my feedback has gone up as well , this is all a bit confusing , i had one bad feedback in june 2007 ..

    see you ..

    You can't!

The percentage is based on the last 12 months score, so I'm guessing you have had a neutral or neg within that time. Up until yesterday, your percentage was higher as your older feedback had diluted the effect of the non-positives.

Still, count yourself lucky - a fair few Powersellers have suddenly been kicked off the programme due to old neutrals dropping them below the 98% threshold.

I've just checked my score today. I've not had any activity on my account since December last year and so it's been stuck on 98 for ages. Today, however, it's jumped to 107 (feedback was 100% in both cases).

I've never received a neutral or a neg, so this is weird, not that it particularly bothers me.

Unfortunately you can not open disputes for buyer stupidity, only non-payment. If i receive a neg because of a postal strike, or if because my PS2 game will not work on PS1, then does that buyer still deserve a positive because they managed to pay quickly?

I'll be switching off my automated feedback now I think. My feedback is at a level where i do not need to concern myself on getting any more. I'm happy to not to leave or receive any more feedback.

how do you switch off automated feedback thanks:money:

i think its stupid to only be able to leave positives for buyers, how do other sellers know what this person has been like previously and if they have paid or not? i dont like it at all

Definitely phased roll-out. One of my accounts, the feedback count has changed but the other account has not yet (although both are now displaying the 12-month percentage when you click through to feedback page).

Since I first posted that, I've rethought my position on leave feedback. As feedback is entirely voluntary, I only choose to leave it for those that volunteer to take the time to leave it for me. My feedback is automated, so if a buyer does choose to leave a positive for me, it will be returned immediately.
