Jock - so so sorry about your DD's experience. It must have been awful. Just have quiet moments with her. Unfortunately the death thing a learning experience which we had to do with ours when their DGF died. Not easy though when a youngster dies.

Jackie - so pleased to hear you more proactive. Keep up the good work with treatment!

HJ - best wishes for tomorrow. Don't slag Pink too much for coming up. I can still do the weekend shift if required. Hope all goes well. Ops always daunting.

Sorry, now very tired so signing out. Cleared everywhere for decoration tomorrow. House in turmoil.

Very close colleague of over 20 years informed me of imminent retirement by e-mail. Very upset as think he could have done it different - maybe phone call. When I e-mailed back he phoned and I cried so feeling a bit raw tonight.

Another problem is that kitchen guy might not get here until the end of March! Well, we just have to go with the flow and muddle.

Love and hugs to you all

    Hi all,

Jockettuk, I was so sorry to read about your dd's friend. I imagine that she's terribly uspet. I remember when I was 14 that a girl in my year was knocked down and killed by a car. We were all devastated, but as others have said we got tremendous strength from each other. It's so thoughtful of you to have booked her in for the massage and facial. You sound like a fantastic mum. I feel for the parents of the poor girl....I can't imagine what it must be like for them.
Jackie O, It's great to see you sounding so upbeat.
Grannybroon, it's very thoughtful of you to offer to help Haribo out, but hopefully she'll be back on her feet by the time I leave on Monday night. I'll pass your message on though.
Aussie, I've cleared my pm box as your number 1 target is offline and I am expecting lots of complaints about your posts from your other victims....boob jobs and burning bra's indeed! I tell you, the last thing Haribo needs is a boob job. Me? Well lets just say, I'm the less well endowed sister! :D
    Jayward, ((hugs))
    Young Taplord, Happy Birthday!

Well I've had a busy day doing nothing special. I did lots about the house today in preparation for going to Scotland. I cleaned , tidied, and made some meals for the freezer....not that they'll be eaten as lots of people have invited Mr Pink and the kids for tea. He's perfectly able to manage by himself, but I think people see a man on his own for five days and think he won't cope. Needless to say he's loving all the attention! :D

I was working this evening.....it's not my week on, but I was covering for the girl who works opposite me. Tomorrow I need to go and buy some warm pj's and a really snuggly dressing gown. We have central heating but Haribo doesn't (apparently no one does there  ) and snow is expected. I don't do cold! :o So I'm going to be well prepared! :D I spoke to her at teatime and she was in good form, but I've really missed her tonight as we normally have a chat on the phone before bed. Can't wait to see her on Thursday though. I'll update you all tomorrow when I know more.

    Pink
