Thanks Pigpen - a great idea for tomorrow.
I am going to have a mooch around the shops on my own looking at things for me - might try to get a mini-makeover on one of the makeup counters. Then I will have a drive about doing some delivering I need to do - but without child or husband in tow, with my own choice of music and plan of where to go.
So am aiming for a whole morning of me-ness!
Lets see if it pans out?

Welcome here, as well, Bonsibabe. :hello: You'll love it. Package will be winging it's way to you over in dear old BAOR soon!
Pigpen, I know it's not what you meant, but I really just want to get my house thoroughly organised again (March Out Standards - Bonsibabe!), then I really will have time for the "Me" things. I enjoy DIY, but have been so deep in c**p that I haven't had time. Also, feel guilty sitting down to knit or stitch when the house is a mess, so ideally, what I want most is to get my house finished.
2nd most want is.......................spend some time knitting, stitching, card making, or anything else crafty.
I promise, I will do some of that tomorrow, as well as my Supermarket Sweep.

Pink Fairy I know exactly what you mean, I am struggling to settle lately and haven't even had a catch up nap this week! Which is usually a must, I've just been too busy in my head to even think about it. My main wish is to have everything done and be more organised, but I have now managed to come to terms with the fact it'll take a while and like last time I moved (lived in the other house 7 years) there will be things next time I move that I haven't unpacked! I'm even starting to enjoy working out the finances and paying bills since the money front got a bit easier.
Just putting in a basics shop online, have decided tomorrow is just for bits that are cheaper in Aldi so not too much to unpack, need to get back into the system of online shopping for basics more as I'm just not going to have the time to wander the shops for 2 hours. I see it as time is money, I'll gladly pay a delivery charge for someone to save me a couple of hours, back ache from emptying the trolley and the petrol money. One day I might be more organised...........

:eek:Your dog uses the loo?!!!
:rotfl::rotfl:Hahaha! I wish, save me having to clean up the yard every day.
Living by myself I tend to only do stuff for me!:p My main 'desire' is to buy a saxaphone and learn to play. I've promised myself that when my debts are clear that is the first thing I'm going to do (then I've got a long list after that, new stereo, new sofa, new bed etc etc!) I took one more step towards that saxaphone today...I've posted the cheque to pay off HFC 1!

Evening all
Well, flying today ... yeh, well, I must've been psychic and pre-guessed PigPen's demands .. and had a little me time
As a consequence I now am the proud owner of a used mincer .... I bought it new at the beginning of the year, but hadn't got any meat to mince. So DH and DD were sent on a "meat run" today .. and we've just "christened" it ... LOL ..oh ok, I know it's not romantic, but it's so good
Whilst they were doing that, I went to the gym and could just forget about everything else whilst there
This evening, I left DH to playing with DD and making dinner whilst I did the grocery shop for loads of veg ... more bliss
Tomorrow no cleaning is planned ... tomorrow is batch cooking day .... ready meals to be made
I have 6lbs of mince, 3lbs of braising steak, 2lbs of pork cubes, sweet potatoes, parsnips, black eyed peas soaking to name some of the ingredients ... let's see what I can achieve by tomorrow night
In the meantime .. 2 loads of washing done ... hung ... oven cleaned ... etc. etc. etc
Oh and one other thing, tomorrow we must pack.GC - March 2024 -0 -
Hello everyone (ok those still up!)
I know its late but I havent checked in since page 36, and no I havent caught up on the pages in between. Had been really good at flying this week so decided that Friday evening I'd get tea and then watch telly - unheard of for me, but it was nice to relax.
Today I decided to put a second coat of paint on the walls in the dining room - trouble is when I checked the photos on the computer I discovered first coat was put on 6 years ago  . Thats what you call taking your time over something :rotfl: . Anyway managed to do half the room (and allowed DD to HELP) so despite Pigpens orders to do something for ourselves tomorrow I have painting to do, washing & ironing, roast lunch cooking, shopping and baking plus promised to take DD and dog to the park. How many hours are there in a day ????!!!!!***
Best go and find my bed now then

One day I might be more organised...........

Morning
Hugs to those in the fed up corner.
Welcome new people :hello:
Shirley that card is fab! what a cool idea! :T
Was up at 5am yesterday morning so surfed the web, went back to bed @ 8 then got up at 11am and got the urge to clean, I was so energetic I did the whole house from top to bottom including the porch which usually gets neglected. It's lovely to see it this morning :j I figured If I spend 3 hrs (like I do at work) on a Saturday doing my entire house ...I don't have to do anything much other than dailies through the week, and Saturdays are usually dead boring as I'm by myself mostly anyway so no biggie. That was the plan yesterday, let's see how long I stick to it for....
Hmmmm I'm struggling thinking of something I want to do for me today.....the first two things are not achievable (no man, and no money) so I'll have to get my thinking cap on.
Littley's still at her nanas, haven't seen her since Friday tea-time lol
List for today:
do accounts for this week
TD? x 1 (hoping to get it on the line actually it sounds very windy)
sort uniforms for tomorrow
go buy packed lunch stuff
meal plan for the week
shopping list (hope I get some money)
find out when half-term is (need to arrange childcare)
find summat for tea
make my bed
put my clean clothes away

Morning all - good idea Pigpen about the ME time, not too bad for me at weekend as OH looks after LO most of it and DD's are at their dads so I get chance to spend time on here, have a bath, nip out etc.
Today though I am having an hour me time and going to see my friends new baby that was born yesterday afternoon - less than 6lb so smaller than any of the 3 I gave birth to!! Can't wait!
Just got the washing (1st load in) and ironing to do today and shopping to unpack once Tesco have delivered it.0 -
Morning All
I've already been up for a couple of hours. WM and TD are on.
Does anyone know where I've put my thermometer? DD isn't very well but I don't know how hot she is.
Anyway, hope everyone has a good day
