Mudbath, personally I'd ask the little 'witch' if she remembers where your DD put it, in front of her mother, incase she's lied and said your DD has given her it or allowed her to borrow it, something some little angels are good at.

Hope, looks lovely bless him. Our trips to the hairdressers always end up like that, DS1 especially screams the place down, I travel several miles now to get it done as we eventually found a hairdresser he likes, he still kicks off but she has the pateince of a saint. Since going there and recommending them the poor honey has quite a few kids with 'hairdresser issues' to contend with but she's great with them. One thing I do find vital is to take him more often!

Serena I have a Sony Trinitron I bought when I was 18, 12 years ago, it's still going strong now, great TVs, even my old neighbour who was a manager of an electricals store commented when he seen it that 'Sony haven't made a more reliable TV since'.

Michelle, I would ask them first if they know how he got the marks. With kids like you have said sometimes they bump themselves and we don't know how or why. If they answer with they don't know, then mention that if he does hurt himself you would rather that they informed you when you collect him to save the worry at home. I blasted a girl at my sons old nursery who'd scratched him by accident as she had very long nails, my Mam has kept hers shorter since she nearly dropped DS1 (DS1s fault not hers)and scratched his back, he still has the scar 8 years later.

Erm, there was more I was wanting to say but now my head is blank and my fingers hurt :o my Dad said I spend so much time typing he's suprised my fingers are not shorter. Well swimming went, just went, DS1 being evil, attacking his brother constantly, starting to get to me now and will be having a think of what action to take next.

Anyway, it's horrid and windy here, snowing sometimes, DP has gone to work (I'm trying not to worry!) washing machine is on with swimming stuff and the rest of the dark stuff from today. Part of me is wishing I could just hibernate until Monday (when hopefully the weather will have improved) but I know I must be a responsible mother and take DS2 to school tomorrow, brrrrrrr!!! I also need to get DPs car taxed in the morning (he'll be asleep) pack and post ebay stuff etc. I was going to go to Costco but with the forecast I am tempted to just get dog food etc elsewhere instead of having to travel through there, was scary enough driving home from swimming with the wind trying to take the car off me.

**Edit because of cross post with Jill** Some people do get periods when breastfeeding, mine restarted when DS1 was about 13 weeks old. I remember mentioning to the HV who said it was normal for some especially when they start sleeping more at night, being weaned or when doing bottles aswell as breast feeding (I'd started expressing more by then) Could it be that?

lil_me - just read your post about taking time off flying, good luck with the course starting etc and thanks for doing the thread for us for so long
pigpen dont be too hard on us please!!!!

    kdean - welcome back

maralum - just read yours about wieht and healthy eating etc. Is there any way you could adapt what they like to suit you as well ? I have a DS who is fussy-ish and a husband who hates healthy stuff and is a vegetable hating vegetarian  ,. I have to do all the cooking or hubby cooks burger and chips but we seem to have reached an arrangement that works wuite well. If he is ultra late home I leave him to fend for himself and he gets his share of carp, if he is going out of an evening the kids eat theirs and I make something for myself later that I know only I will like , and so on.

You dont sound huge, you sound normal to me. But I know what you mean about feeling out of proportion, I am currently a size 16 but need an 18 on top. When not pregnant/bf I am a 32FF, a 12 on bottom and 14 on top.
I read a later post that says your baby is quite young - oh wait was she the cute one in the pictures recently - Freya was it ? and you're bf still ? As am I. My bazongas are MASSIVE, I used to run and cant any more as its sooooo uncomfortable and I cant get a sports bra thats a roper fit, they dont make them big enough LOL. My feeding bras are a 36L :rotfl: what a stupid size :rotfl:
To give you a alaugh, when I bought the feeding bras, in John Lewis, I asked if they had it in black(they didnt,of course ..) but the sales assistant shouted down the length of the department to her colleague " MARY! DO WE HAVE THE 36L IN BLACK???" I was MORTIFIED.
To try shift the weight I do Weighwatchers core Plan. Its very easy, not much counting points really and encourages you to change your habits to eat halthily which I believe helps you to keep the weight off ie its not a crash diet. I eat loads and loads and loads but am losing about a pound a week because the majority of it is healthy. Feel free to PM me for ideas etc

I have 4 year old at school 9-3
I have 3 year old at preschool 9.30-12.30
I have 4 month old baby at home all day with me who hates sleeping for more than about 20 mins at a time.

    Jill..
    I have 7 at school 9-3 (3 till 3:30)
    I have 1 at nursery 9-12

I do my HHE at 10:30 .. it is actually 45 minutes in truth.. when I'm done I have just enough time for a quick shower and a cuppa before I have to go get her.

When I did it before when Tiddles was tiddly I would plonk her in the baby seat to 'watch' .. I also, at that time had DD4 at home all the time and she would sit and play.. or go for a nap.. or join in.. that was fun..

I did do some of it a few times with the little one strapped in the sling VERY securely so her wobbly head didn't wobble..she actually loved it.. explains a lot now I guess!!

JillD when my boys were little they used to find it hilarious, if there was music on DS2 loved it. Using the buggy could be a good way of loosing weight, I lost the most power walking, well ok just walking as fast as I could with DS1 in the buggy and DS2 in the baby carrier fastened to me, don't need to use weights when you have 'free ones' to take with you. Now my 2 are a bit older, since the cross trainer/bike (it does both) arrived they are watching then fighting to have a go on it, I know they probably shouldn't use it according to some health people but we only let them on for a few minutes, oh and getting DS2 to get off my mini trampoline so I can use it is another matter all together! Suppose you could break up the exercise into smaller sections to fit round little ones naps.

Lil_me - i'll definitely approach the little witch like that. Sometimes you need an outsider to give you the obvious answer. You're a star!
Pigpen - did you not know that there is an official statute that says that no pigpen is allowed to be miserable as it affects the equilibrium of this thread. If that doesn't stop you being miserable I will start to sing again.....be warned. Hugs to you anyway xx
Michelle - i'd definitely mention it casually but I know my DS can come home with quite large marks on him and he hasn't a clue how he got them. He's always been like that! To this day he's not sure how he broke his collar bone at school!!!

DH arrived home after an awful flight. He's really chuffed with his birthday cake. It's torture having it sitting in the fridge until tomorrow.

    Night all xx

Edited - keep meaning to say hello to molly george...hope you're not doing too much xx

pigpen - god, I live in hope

poohbear - thanks for the hugs, I truly did have one of those days on Tuesday but yeaterday and today have been loads better :D I go to one of thos epoints where you think "well you little so and so's I actually don't care if you wee yourself/don't eat/fight/shout" and the ignoring it seems to help! At least if I am ignoring them I am not shouting. Today I sang "deck the halls" very very loudly, esp the falalalalaaaa bits and they were extremely bemused.

Dusty - dunno if anyone replied about your need forSimpsonms cake..... I know Asda do a Simpsons one. Or what about making a round cake, cutting a bit out the middle and descorting withe hundred and thousands on white icing so it looks like a giant doughnut ?

phew - am up to page 21 and almost finished Tuesday LOL
